Davis grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds, powering Dallas to its third straight victory. Since returning from injury, Davis has ramped up his production, averaging 20.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.7 blocks and 1.3 three-pointers through three games. While power forward is his preferred position, Davis has thrived as the starting center, resulting in both his rebound and block numbers increasing.

Portland assigned Hansen to the G League's Rip City Remix on Wednesday.

Hansen logged five minutes for Portland during Wednesday's win over the Cavaliers, finishing with two points, one rebound, one assist and one block. Most of his live reps will likely continue to come with the Remix in the short term.

Okongwu notched seven points (3-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), nine rebounds and five assists over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 115-92 loss to the Clippers.

Okongwu had a tough night banging in the post with Ivica Zubac, and he didn't even get his first shot to drop until the second quarter. It was an off night for a guy who is having a fantastic season, so managers can expect a bounce-back performance Friday against the Nuggets.

Gafford (ankle) won't return to Wednesday's game against the Heat, Joey Mistretta of ClutchPoints.com reports.

After returning from a two-game absence Wednesday, Gafford aggravated the same right ankle he's been having trouble with. He finished the night with two points (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one steal in 14 minutes. He can be considered highly questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder.

Zubac chipped in 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 FT), 17 rebounds, five assists and one block in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 115-92 victory over Atlanta.

Zubac dominated his matchup Wednesday night, regularly getting deep post position for easy buckets right under the rim, and he inhaled any rebound in his general vicinity. He had his double-double by halftime, and he ranks in the top three in double-doubles this season with 14 on the year. Zubac will look to keep it going Friday in Memphis.

Hornets coach Charles Lee said Kalkbrenner sprained his left ankle during Wednesday's 119-104 loss to the Knicks.

Kalkbrenner tweaked his left ankle in the fourth quarter and didn't return to the game, finishing with eight points (2-4 FG, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds and three blocks in 25 minutes. He came off the bench for the first time this season behind Moussa Diabate but fared much better than Diabate did. Lee did not provide an update on the severity of Kalkbrenner's sprain, leaving his status in the air for Friday's game against Toronto.

Gafford left Wednesday's game against the Heat with an apparent right ankle issue, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.

Gafford returned from a two-game absence Wednesday because of his right ankle, so this obviously isn't ideal for the center. He was in visible pain and had a significant limp on his way to the locker room. The Mavericks will likely update his status shortly.

Gafford (ankle) is available off the bench Wednesday against Miami, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.

Gafford is returning from a two-game absence, and the Mavericks may monitor his minutes as a result. The center holds averages of 9.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game this season.

Kalkbrenner will come off the bench Wednesday against the Knicks, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.

After starting in his 19 previous appearances, Kalkbrenner will shift to the second unit with Moussa Diabate getting the starting nod. Diabate has been surging lately, making this a position battle to monitor closely going forward.

Adams (ankle) will play in Wednesday's game against Sacramento, Vanessa Richardson of Space City Home Network reports.

Adams has been cleared to take the floor Wednesday night, though he'll do so as a member of the second unit. In 11 appearances off the bench this season, Adams is averaging 6.5 points and 9.0 rebounds across 19.1 minutes.
