  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Won't play Monday

Sarr (thigh) won't play Monday against the Bucks.

Sarr was initially considered questionable for this contest, but the Wizards will hold him out for the front end of this back-to-back set. For now, he can be considered questionable for Tuesday's game against the 76ers. In Sarr's absence, the Wizards will likely turn to Marvin Bagley and Tristan Vukcevic.

  • Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Near double-double off bench

Filipowski provided 12 points (5-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes during Sunday's 129-101 loss to the Rockets.

Filipowski is the first man off the bench most nights and is one of Utah's most consistent contributors. Ever since being relegated to the bench Nov. 2, Filipowski is averaging 9.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.7 blocks across 21.2 minutes.

  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Rockets' Clint Capela: Plays 14 minutes in win

Capela logged six points (3-4 FG), three rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 14 minutes during Sunday's 129-101 victory over the Jazz.

Capela's role has been very inconsistent this season, as he is the third-string center behind Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams. In games where Capela plays at least 14 minutes, he averages 5.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.2 blocks, but it is unknown how much time he will play on a game-to-game basis, making him an unreliable fantasy option in most leagues.

  • Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Records double-double

Okongwu closed Sunday's 142-134 double-overtime victory over the 76ers with 10 points (5-14 FG, 0-7 3Pt), 13 rebounds, six assists and one steal in 47 minutes.

With Kristaps Porzingis (illness) sidelined, Okongwu recorded his fifth double-double of the season -- and first since Nov. 13 -- in this win, and the big man continues to make the most of his minutes available in the Hawks' frontcourt. Regardless of whether he starts or plays off the bench, Okongwu is seeing enough minutes and producing at a strong enough rate to be considered across all formats. He averaged 16.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.9 blocks per game in November.

  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Comes close to double-double

Holmgren produced 19 points (9-15 FG, 1-4 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal over 30 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 123-115 win over the Trail Blazers.

Holmgren finished just one rebound away from recording what would've been his first double-double since Nov. 11, when he had 23 points and 11 boards in a win over the Warriors. The big man should continue playing at center following the return of Jalen Williams and the absence of Isaiah Hartenstein (calf). Holmgren is averaging 14.0 points, 7.6 boards, 2.0 assists and 1.6 blocks per game over his last five outings.

  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Steps in after Ayton injury

Hayes had eight points (4-4 FG, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 21 minutes during Sunday's 133-121 victory over the Pelicans.

Deandre Ayton (knee) was well on his way to an outstanding stat line before a knee injury forced him out, and Hayes continued the assault on New Orleans' withering interior in Ayton's place. Hayes' numbers off the bench have been nothing special, but Ayton's heavy load and superb play are the cause of the low numbers. Ayton's injury appears to be minor, but a start could be in store for Hayes if Ayton is sidelined.

  • Lakers' Deandre Ayton: Exits early Sunday

Ayton exited Sunday's game against the Pelicans and did not return due to right knee soreness, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Ayton appeared to be favoring his right knee, which is the same knee he has been experiencing discomfort in over the last week, before taking himself out of the game. The Lakers were sporting a comfortable lead, so it remains unclear if Ayton would have been able to return to the game had it been competitive. If he is forced to miss time, Jaxson Hayes figures to see an expanded role.

  • Zach Edey C | MEM

Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Dominates paint in career-best game

Edey totaled 32 points (16-20 FG, 0-1 FT), 17 rebounds and five blocks in 29 minutes during Sunday's 115-107 win over the Kings.

Edey played the best game of his young career Sunday, racking up career highs in scoring and blocks. Edey also continued his dominant play on the glass, grabbing a game-high 17 boards and extending his streak of games with at least 15 rebounds to three. Over those three games, he is averaging 19.3 points, 17.0 rebounds and 3.3 blocks in 32 minutes per contest.

  • Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Season-high three steals in start

Tillman posted nine points (4-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt), six rebounds, one block and three steals over 30 minutes during Sunday's 117-115 win over the Cavaliers.

In his first appearance since the Nov. 18 win over the Nets, Tillman filled in for the injured Neemias Queta (ankle) with a serviceable effort in the starting lineup. Tillman hadn't even reached the 20-minute threshold in any of his first eight games of the year, so it's hard to imagine he'll hang onto much fantasy relevance once Queta is healthy. The three steals were a season high for Tillman on Sunday, though.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Team-high 22 points in win

Towns finished Sunday's 116-94 win over the Raptors with 22 points (8-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), eight rebounds and two assists over 31 minutes.

It was a balanced scoring attack for the Knicks on Sunday, with six players scoring 13 points or more. Towns led the charge in the scoring department despite hitting just one three-pointer, and he finished third on the team in rebounds behind Mitchell Robinson (15) and Josh Hart (12). Since Nov. 2, Towns has averaged 23.0 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.8 threes and 0.9 steals over 33.4 minutes per game.
