Hawks' Clint Capela: Won't play Wednesday

Capela has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets due to personal reasons, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Capela is slated to miss his first game since the All-Star break. He's played more than 20 minutes only once over his last 10 appearances. Still, in Capela's absence, Dominick Barlow is a candidate for a bigger reserve role behind Onyeka Okongwu.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Goes through shootaround

Porzingis (illness) participated in Wednesday's morning shootaround, Noa Dalzell of CelticsBlog.com reports.

Porzingis has missed six straight games and seven of the past eight for Boston, but he's trending in the right direction for a potential return. If he does receive the green light to suit up, Porzingis could be eased back into things for the Celtics in the form of restrictions.

  • Yves Missi C | NO

    Pelicans' Yves Missi: Nearly double-doubles

Missi supplied nine points (3-6 FG, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 26 minutes during Tuesday's 127-120 win over the Clippers.

Missi limped back to the locker room with 2:59 remaining in the first quarter due to an apparent ankle injury, but he returned to the game midway through the second quarter. Missi's fantasy production has left a lot to be desired in recent weeks, as he's averaging 10.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.8 blocks in 26.8 minutes over his last 10 games.

  • Ivica Zubac C | IND

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Posts massive line

Zubac accumulated 19 points (9-12 FG, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and four blocks over 38 minutes during Tuesday's 127-120 loss to the Pelicans.

Zubac swatted at least four shots for the fourth time this campaign while recording his 43rd double-double. This was also his seventh contest with at least five dimes as he continues to improve as a facilitator. Through 63 regular-season contests, Zubac is on pace to post top-40 value in nine-category formats with 16.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 blocks in 32.6 minutes per contest.

  • Paul Reed C | DET

Pistons' Paul Reed: Rare appearance in win

Reed closed with zero points (0-1 FG) and two rebounds over two minutes during Tuesday's 123-103 victory over the Wizards.

Reed left the bench for the first time in the past four games, continuing his disappointing season. Despite his per-minute abilities, Reed is firmly placed behind both Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart as the third-string center. Given Reed has played a grand total of just 38 minutes over the past nine games, there is no reason to think he will be challenging either player for his spot in the rotation.

  • Brook Lopez C | LAC

Bucks' Brook Lopez: Leads Milwaukee in loss

Lopez finished with 23 points (9-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 115-114 loss to the Pacers.

Lopez finished as Milwaukee's leading scorer, marking his 11th outing with at least 20 points across 63 regular-season appearances. Additionally, the 36-year-old sank multiples triples for the fourth time over the club's last 10 outings. The veteran big man was extremely efficient while putting up double-digit shot attempts after three quiet outings on the offensive end. However, Lopez failed to record a block, ending his 14-game streak with at least one swat.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Tallies another 20-10 double-double

Allen finished Tuesday's 109-104 victory over the Nets with 23 points (7-12 FG, 9-11 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and three blocks across 34 minutes.

Allen owned the paint in Tuesday's contest, leading all Cavaliers in rebounds and blocks while finishing as one of three players with 20 or more points in a well-rounded double-double. Allen has surpassed the 20-point mark in 11 contests, adding 10 or more boards in 10 of those outings.

  • Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Ejected Tuesday

Holmes was ejected from Tuesday's game against the Pistons after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports.

The 31-year-old center was tossed after elbowing Ausar Thompson in the mouth while protecting the ball, per Sankofa. Holmes will finish the game with 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal across 22 minutes.

Missi limped back to the locker room with 2:59 remaining in the first quarter due to an apparent ankle injury, per the broadcast. However, the rookie big man has since returned following a brief exit, and he will likely be able to shoulder his normal workload the rest of the way.
