Dwight Powell C | DAL
Mavericks' Dwight Powell: Muted role continues Wednesday
Powell racked up one assist across four minutes during Wednesday's 119-116 loss to the Pelicans.
Powell logged fewer than 10 minutes for the seventh time in the past eight games, continuing his underwhelming season. At this point, he is basically the fourth-string center in the Mavericks rotation, playing behind Dereck Lively (ankle), Daniel Gafford and Maxi Kleber.

Daniel Gafford C | DAL
Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Dominates in spot start
Gafford accumulated 27 points (12-13 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 119-116 loss to the Pelicans.
Gafford took over the starting role, replacing Dereck Lively who was ruled out due to an ankle injury. After weeks of playing second fiddle to Lively, Gafford was able to showcase his talents, recording his first double-double in more than six weeks. As long as Lively is sidelined, Gafford should continue to log heavy minutes on a team clawing and scratching for every win in a loaded Western Conference.

Nicolas Claxton C | BKN
Nets' Nic Claxton: Available Wednesday
Claxton (hamstring) has been made available for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Claxton missed Tuesday's game on the road against the Trail Blazers with a hamstring issue but will be back in action for the Nets on Wednesday against the Clippers. The Nets big man is averaging 10.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 blocks per game this season, shooting 54.8 percent from the field.

Anthony Davis C | WAS
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Cleared to play against Heat
Davis (foot) will play Wednesday against Miami, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.
Davis landed his regular probable tag ahead of Wednesday's tilt and, as expected, will suit up. In his last four games, Davis is averaging 24.8 points, 14.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 4.3 combined steals-plus-blocks across 35.5 minutes.

Drew Eubanks C | SAC
Jazz's Drew Eubanks: Rejoins reserves
Eubanks will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against Charlotte.
Eubanks drew a spot start Sunday while Walker Kessler rested, but Kessler reclaimed a starting role Wednesday and pushed Eubanks to the bench. Eubanks is averaging 5.0 points and 4.4 rebounds across 14.5 minutes per game this season.

DeAndre Jordan C | NO
Nuggets' DeAndre Jordan: Starting sans Jokic
Jordan will start Wednesday's game against Houston.
Nikola Jokic suffered an elbow injury during pregame warmups and was ruled out, leaving an opportunity for Jordan to enter the first unit for the second time this season. In his other start, which came Jan. 8 against the Clippers, Jordan logged 12 points, nine rebounds and two steals across 23 minutes.

Kel'el Ware C | MIA
Heat's Kel'el Ware: Officially active
Ware (foot) will play in Wednesday's game against the Lakers.
Ware saw 33 minutes off the bench Monday due to the absence of Bam Adebayo (back) but should see his minutes dip down Wednesday with Adebayo healthy. In the 12 games before Monday's outburst, Ware averaged 8.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks across 16.2 minutes.

Bam Adebayo PF | MIA
Heat's Bam Adebayo: Active Wednesday
Adebayo (back) will play in Wednesday's game against the Lakers.
Adebayo will return from a one-game absence due to a lower back bruise. The center should reclaim his spot in the starting lineup from Kevin Love. Adebayo is averaging 16.1 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game this season.

Nikola Jokic C | DEN
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Ruled out Wednesday
Jokic (elbow) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
After dropping a triple-double in Monday's win over the Mavericks, Jokic won't play against the Rockets on Tuesday due to right elbow inflammation. According to Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette, Jokic hurt his elbow in warmups. The superstar big man is putting up some of the best numbers of his career for the Nuggets and will be sorely missed against a good Houston squad. DeAndre Jordan and Dario Saric could see a bump in minutes with the three-time NBA MVP on the mend.

Robert Williams III C | POR
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Unlikely to play Thursday
Williams (illness) is doubtful for Thursday's game against the Clippers.
Williams is slated for a fourth consecutive absence overall and a third straight due to illness. With Donovan Clingan (ankle) out, Duop Reath will likely handle the backup center work Thursday. Williams' next chance to play will come Saturday against Houston.
