Anthony Davis C | WAS
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Probable to play Monday
Davis (foot) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Spurs, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
Davis has played through left plantar fasciitis over the Lakers' last three games, and over that span he averaged 23.0 points, 14.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.3 blocks and 1.0 steals over 36.7 minutes per contest. The Lakers last two games have been suspended due to the ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area, but Michael Wright of ESPN.com reported Sunday that Monday's game is expected to be played.

Drew Eubanks C | SAC
Jazz's Drew Eubanks: Starting Sunday vs. Brooklyn
Eubanks is in the Jazz's starting lineup against the Nets on Sunday, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Eubanks will make his first start of the 2024-25 regular season Sunday due to the absence of Walker Kessler (rest). Over his last four outings, Eubanks has averaged 5.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists over 17.5 minutes per game.

Goga Bitadze C | ORL
Magic's Goga Bitadze: Day ends early with hip injury
Bitadze exited with 2:38 remaining in the second quarter of Sunday's 104-99 win over the 76ers and didn't return after being diagnosed with a right hip contusion.
The Magic initially labeled Bitadze as questionable to return, but Wendell Carter opened the second half with the starting unit while Bitadze never checked back into the game. Along with Carter, Jonathan Isaac (27 minutes) also saw a spike in playing time as a result of Bitadze's early exit. Bitadze finished with four points (2-3 FG), two rebounds, two blocks, two steals and one assist in 12 minutes prior to departing the game.

Jay Huff C | IND
Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Probable for Monday
Huff is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Rockets due to left-knee soreness.
Huff's knee soreness seems to be a new ailment, but it likely won't be enough to keep him sidelined Monday. Huff has seen inconsistent minutes of late, and he seems to be trending toward a smaller role as the team gets healthy. He has averaged 5.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 12.8 minutes over his last five appearances.

Kyle Filipowski PF | UTA
Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Available Sunday
Filipowski (ankle) will play Sunday against the Nets.
Filipowski will be able to play through an ankle sprain he presumably suffered during Saturday's loss to the Spurs. With Lauri Markkanen (back) out of the lineup, Filipowski could be called upon more often offensively.
-
Joel Embiid C | PHI
76ers' Joel Embiid: Not playing Sunday
Embiid (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Magic, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Despite being tagged as day-to-day due to a left foot sprain, Embiid will miss his fourth straight game Sunday, and his next opportunity to play will be Tuesday against the Thunder. Guerschon Yabusele should remain in the 76ers' starting lineup for a fifth straight game due to Embiid and Andre Drummond (toe) both being out.
-
Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA
Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Dealing with illness
Nurkic won't play Sunday against the Hornets due to an illness.
Nurkic has been benched and taken out of the rotation completely since returning from a three-game suspension, so his absence Sunday shouldn't impact Phoenix's current rotation. Mason Plumlee and Oso Ighodaro will continue to split minutes at center for the foreseeable future.
-
John Collins PF | LAC
Jazz's John Collins: Still out Sunday
Collins (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Nets.
Collins will miss a fifth straight game due to a left hip injury. His next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against the Hornets. Micah Potter and Cody Williams should continue to see additional minutes until Collins returns to action.
-
Walker Kessler C | UTA
Jazz's Walker Kessler: Resting Sunday
Kessler has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Nets due to rest.
Kessler will take a seat for the second night of a back-to-back set after posting 16 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks in 31 minutes during Saturday's loss to Phoenix. He should return to action against the Hornets on Wednesday, while Kyle Filipowski (ankle), Drew Eubanks and Micah Potter are all candidates for increased roles Sunday.
-
Kyle Filipowski PF | UTA
Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Iffy Sunday
Filipowski (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Nets.
Filipowski is in jeopardy of missing his first game since Dec. 21 due to a right ankle sprain that he presumably sustained during Saturday's loss to the Suns. The rookie has seen increased run of late, and he has averaged 5.4 points and 6.2 rebounds across 22.8 minutes per contest in his last five appearances. With Filipowski and Lauri Markkanen (back) at risk of joining John Collins (hip) and Walker Kessler (rest) on the sideline, Micah Potter and Cody Williams are candidates for increased roles.
