  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Plays well in 17 minutes

Adams registered eight points (3-4 FG, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 17 minutes during Sunday's 119-115 victory over the Lakers.

Adams nearly double-doubled in 17 minutes, showing that he still has some gas left in the tank. He's been a fringe rotation player for most of the season, but he logged a few extra minutes Sunday due to Alperen Sengun being in foul trouble.

  • Hornets' Mark Williams: Nearly double-doubles

Williams finished Sunday's 115-105 loss to the Cavaliers with 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 28 minutes.

Williams is starting to get his legs under him and his workload is trending up with three straight games in which he's eclipsed 28 minutes. He's been very productive as well, averaging 16.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 blocks in that span. It required some patience, but Williams' fantasy managers are starting to see some nice dividends.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Scores 14 points with 14 shots

Sengun finished with 14 points (6-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), six rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes during Sunday's 119-115 victory over the Lakers.

While the final stat line wasn't inefficient, it was a step below compared to what Sengun delivers in most games. The big man has gone three straight games without a double-double, which represents his longest streak of the season. However, a matchup against the Wizards on Tuesday represents a good chance to snap that drought.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Monster stat line Sunday

Davis amassed 30 points (10-18 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and five blocks in 38 minutes during Sunday's 119-115 loss to Houston.

Davis had a strong showing Sunday despite the outcome of the contest, as he recorded a fourth straight double-double and the third consecutive appearance with two or more blocks. Excluding the Christmas Day game against the Warriors, in which he left with an injury after just seven minutes, Davis has posted a double-double in 11 games in a row while recording multiple blocks nine times in that stretch.

  • Jazz's Walker Kessler: Pulls down 17 boards

Kessler provided 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 FT), 17 rebounds, two assists and one block in 29 minutes during Sunday's 105-92 win over the Magic.

Kessler recorded a double-double for the fourth time across his last five outings, and the big man continues to be among the most productive two-way interior presences in the league. Even though his scoring numbers remain subpar, as he hasn't reached the 15-point mark since Dec. 13, he should remain valuable in fantasy due to his rebounding and shot-blocking skills. He's averaging 10.6 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 blocks per game over his last five games.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Records 31st double-double in win

Sabonis ended Sunday's 129-99 victory over the Warriors with 22 points (10-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds and seven assists over 30 minutes.

Sabonis maintained his slim lead over Karl-Anthony Towns in the double-double rankings during a dominant performance over the Warriors. Sabonis shined despite the absence of De'Aaron Fox (hip), as Malik Monk was able to feed the ball inside on several occasions. The competition will ramp up when Bam Adebayo and the Heat pay a visit Friday evening, but Sabonis' trend of stellar production should continue.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Expected to move to bench

The Suns are expected to move Nurkic to the bench for Monday's game against the 76ers and replace him in the starting five with Mason Plumlee, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.

Nurkic will make his return from a three-game suspension Monday, but he'll come off the bench for the first time in 24 appearances this season as head coach Mike Budenholzer shakes up his lineups while the Suns are in the midst of a four-game losing streak. In addition to Nurkic, Bradley Beal will also move to the bench, opening up a spot on the top unit for Ryan Dunn. Though the assignment to the second unit will likely lower Nurkic's nightly playing-time ceiling, he was already averaging 24.3 minutes per game, his lowest mark since 2020-21. If Nurkic is able to retain a 20-to-25-minute role on a consistent basis, his fantasy outlook may not dramatically change with the move to the bench.

  • Suns' Mason Plumlee: Likely to move into starting role

The Suns are expected to move Plumlee into the starting lineup in place of Jusuf Nurkic beginning with Monday's game against the 76ers, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.

Phoenix has dropped its last four games to fall to 15-18 overall on the season, so head coach Mike Budenholzer is seemingly planning to shake up his lineups with the hope of generating better results. In addition to Plumlee, Ryan Dunn will move into the starting five, with Bradley Beal heading to the bench. Plumlee had already started the past three games while Jusuf Nurkic served a suspension, averaging 6.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 blocks in 24.3 minutes per contest during that stretch. Though he looks set to keep his spot on the top unit, Plumlee's playing time could nonetheless take a hit now that Nurkic has been reinstated from his suspension ahead of Monday's contest.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alexandre Sarr: Fourth double-double Sunday

Sarr chipped in 18 points (6-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 11 rebounds and three assists across 28 minutes during Sunday's 110-98 loss to New Orleans.

Sarr produced the fourth double-double of his rookie season Sunday, extending a streak of double-digit scoring performances to 12 games in the process. During this interval, the first-year big man is averaging 14.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 blocks and 2.0 three-pointers. Sarr is slowly beginning to look the part of the 2024 No. 2 overall pick following a slow start to the year, but he'll face a stiff matchup Tuesday against the Rockets, who rank third in the league in points allowed per game (106.7).

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Top rebounder in double-double

Allen ended Sunday's 115-105 win over Charlotte with 19 points (9-10 FG, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 28 minutes.

Allen once again led the Cavaliers in the paint Sunday, pacing all players in rebounds and blocks while ending second on the team in scoring and as the lone player with a double-double in a winning effort. Allen has recorded a double-double in 20 outings this season, including three of his last five contests.
