Isaiah Hartenstein C | OKC
Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Joining first unit
Hartenstein is starting Monday's game against the Kings, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Hartenstein was impressive in his 2024-25 debut Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, and the Thunder evidently feel confident enough in his health to roll him out with the starters. He logged 29 minutes Wednesday and will likely shoulder a similar workload Monday.

Dereck Lively II C | DAL
Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Won't return Monday
Lively will not return to Monday's game against the Hawks due to an illness.
Lively started the game and was able to play through the first half, during which he posted two points (0-2 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 11 minutes. With the second-year big man sidelined, the Mavericks will likely turn to Daniel Gafford and Maxi Kleber at center the rest of the way.

Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Iffy to return Monday
Lively is questionable to return during Monday's game against the Hawks due to an illness, Mavericks beat reporter Landon Thomas reports.
Daniel Gafford started the second half with Lively remaining in the locker room. If the second-year big man is unable to return, Gafford and Maxi Kleber will likely both see an uptick in playing time.

Nicolas Claxton C | BKN
Nets' Nic Claxton: Won't suit up Monday
Claxton (back) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Golden State, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Claxton was a late addition to the injury report while dealing with lingering lower back soreness. With Ben Simmons (rest), Noah Clowney (ankle) and Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) also sidelined for the second leg of the back-to-back set, Trendon Watford (hamstring) and Cameron Johnson will likely play heavy minutes at center.

Robert Williams III C | POR
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Drawing start at center
Williams is starting Monday's game against the Grizzlies.
Williams will join the first unit after both Deandre Ayton (finger) and Donovan Clingan (knee) were ruled out prior to tipoff. Williams should be in line for more opportunities than usual Monday, especially considering he was sat down for rest purposes Saturday against the Rockets. Duop Reath and Jabari Walker should also see more chances due to Portland's lack of frontcourt depth.

Anthony Davis C | WAS
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Probable for Tuesday
Davis (foot) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the Suns.
Davis has played through left plantar fasciitis over the past couple of weeks, and he's expected to do so again Tuesday. Over his last five games, Davis has averaged 30.0 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.6 steals over 36.0 minutes per game.

Kristaps Porzingis C | GS
Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Starting in season debut
Porzingis will enter the starting five in Monday's game against the Clippers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Porzingis underwent foot surgery in June and will return to game action earlier than his initial timetable suggested. The big man should be expected to operate under a minutes restriction in his return, though the club is thin at center due to Al Horford (illness) and Luke Kornet (hamstring) being sidelined.

Kyle Filipowski PF | UTA
Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Won't play Tuesday
Filipowski (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Spurs.
Filipowski will miss his second straight game due to a right ankle sprain he suffered against San Antonio this past Thursday. His next opportunity to play will be the Jazz's second leg of a back-to-back set against the Nuggets on Wednesday. Drew Eubanks and Brice Sensabaugh are likely to see an uptick in playing time due to Filipowski's injury.

Deandre Ayton C | LAL
Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Ruled out Monday
Ayton (finger) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Grizzlies.
Ayton has been downgraded from doubtful to out and will miss his seventh consecutive game due to a right finger sprain. Robert Williams should see an increased role with Ayton joining Donovan Clingan (knee) on the sideline.

Yves Missi C | NO
Pelicans' Yves Missi: Coming off bench Monday
Missi is not in the Pelicans' starting lineup for Monday's game against the Pacers.
Missi was cleared to play Monday after missing Friday's game due to left shoulder soreness, but the rookie first-round pick will come off the bench in his return. Missi started in 11 straight games prior to his injury, and for the season he is averaging 7.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 blocks over 23.2 minutes per game.
