Jaxson Hayes C | LAL
Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Iffy for Wednesday
Hayes is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies with a left ankle sprain, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.
Hayes is in jeopardy of missing his first game of the season. The big man was listed on the injury report before Sunday's win over Toronto with left knee soreness, but it's a new injury that's threatening his status for Wednesday. If Hayes is unable to suit up against the Grizzlies, Christian Koloko would likely step into the backup role behind starting center Anthony Davis (foot/eye).

Anthony Davis C | WAS
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Expected to play Wednesday
Davis is listed as probable for Wednesday's game versus the Grizzlies with left foot plantar fasciitis, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.
Davis was poked in the left eye in the third quarter of Sunday's 123-103 win over the Raptors and was unable to return. Fortunately for Davis, he checked out fine after he visited an ophthalmologist Monday, and at this stage, his lingering foot issue is the only injury that is affecting his status for Wednesday. Assuming he's cleared ahead of the opening tip, Davis shouldn't face any major playing-time restrictions against the Grizzlies.

Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Won't play Tuesday
Ayton (finger) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Timberwolves, Danny Marang of 1080 The Fan Portland reports.
Ayton was a late addition to the injury report due to a sprained right index finger, and he has officially been ruled out for the first leg of the back-to-back set against Minnesota. The big man will be replaced in the starting five by Donovan Clingan, who will make his first career start Tuesday.
