76ers' Anfernee Simons: To join 76ers
Simons (elbow) will join the 76ers on a two-year, $12.3 million deal, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The 76ers continue to round out their roster after acquiring Jaylen Brown on Wednesday. The second year of this deal is a player option, which will allow Simons to bet on himself if he puts together a strong campaign. Simons could be positioned to be the first guard off the bench for the 76ers ahead of Opening Night.

76ers' Jaylen Brown: Heading to Philadelphia
The Celtics traded Brown to the 76ers on Wednesday in exchange for Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Following a career-best year in which he earned his fifth All-Star selection and finished sixth in MVP voting, Brown will join Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid and VJ Edgecombe on the Sixers. Brown averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 34.4 minutes per game across 71 regular-season outings in 2025-26, though he could see a dip in production in a loaded starting five. The star swingman has averaged at least 20.3 points and 1.0 steals per game in seven straight seasons and should operate as one of Philadelphia's top offensive options.

76ers' Paul George: Larger role incoming?
George could be in line for a larger workload after Philadelphia lost both Kelly Oubre and Quentin Grimes this offseason, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.
With two key wing contributors no longer on the roster, the veteran forward should be asked to shoulder more of the scoring and playmaking responsibilities alongside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. Assuming he stays healthy, George could be positioned for a bounce-back fantasy campaign with an expanded role on the wing.

Hukporti was used sparingly by the Knicks during the 2025-26 regular season, appearing in 54 games with 2.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 9.2 minutes per contest.
