  • Celtics' Neemias Queta: Nears double-double in spot start

Queta totaled 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one block and one steal over 23 minutes during Monday's 123-93 win over the Hawks.

Queta made the first start of his NBA career and looked good operating in the frontcourt alongside Al Horford. However, Queta's presence in the starting lineup is expected to be short, especially if Jaylen Brown (hip) is cleared to return soon.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Nabs another double-double Monday

Allen closed Monday's 116-114 victory over the Bucks with 14 points (7-14 FG, 0-2 FT), 15 rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block over 35 minutes.

Allen stuffed the stat sheet while racking up a team-high 15 rebounds and a season-high six assists. The big man was active on both ends of the floor while posting his fifth double-double of the 2024-25 campaign. Allen has been extremely efficient through eight regular-season games, during which he has shot 68.6 percent from the field. The 26-year-old has also averaged a double-double with 15.0 points, 11.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steals across 30.0 minutes per game.

  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Hawks' Clint Capela: Struggles massively Monday

Capela produced two points (1-3 FG), five rebounds and one assist over 17 minutes during Monday's 123-93 loss to Boston.

Capela had another woeful showing, and it's fair to wonder for how long he'll remain in the starting unit, as Onyeka Okongwu has outplayed Capela in almost every game this season. Capela has had a few decent performances this season but has only one double-double through eight appearances while averaging a modest 8.9 points and 6.5 rebounds across 22.5 minutes per game in a starting role.

  • Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Efficient despite loss Monday

Okongwu produced 18 points (8-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and two steals in 23 minutes during Monday's 123-93 loss to Boston.

Okongwu continues to find ways to outplay Clint Capela on a steady basis, and at this point, it wouldn't be surprising if the former claims the starting role at center sooner rather than later. Okongwu is averaging 13.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.7 blocks across 23.8 minutes per contest in his six outings to date, so fantasy managers should continue to trust him even if he continues to play off the bench for the time being.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Double-doubles in loss

Sarr racked up 10 points (3-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and three blocks across 27 minutes during Monday's 125-112 loss to the Warriors.

This was Sarr's first double-double of his NBA career. His offense is a major work in progress with the rookie hitting 36.2 percent from the field and 20.7 percent from beyond the arc through six games, but the counting stats are intriguing with 9.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.8 blocks and 0.5 steals in 25.2 minutes through six appearances.

  • Warriors' Kevon Looney: Pulls down 10 rebounds

Looney recorded four points (2-6 FG), 10 rebounds and two assists across 18 minutes during Monday's 125-112 victory over the Wizards.

This was Looney's third game of the campaign with double-digit rebounds. He's essentially a rebounds specialist, posting averages of 5.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.0 steals in 16.4 minutes through six games.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Double-double against Sixers

Nurkic recorded 15 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 28 minutes during Monday's 118-116 victory over the 76ers.

With Joel Embiid (knee) still sidelined for the Sixers, the 30-year-old center dominated the glass. The double-double was only the second of the season for Nurkic in seven games, as his production has been somewhat feast or famine -- he's pulled down 15 boards in each of the last two games but managed only seven in total over the prior two contests.

  • Wizards' Jonas Valanciunas: Double-doubles in loss

Valanciunas chipped in 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds and seven assists across 21 minutes during Monday's 125-112 loss to Golden State.

This was Valanciunas' first double-double of the campaign, as he continues to be the focal point for the second unit. He has only one block to his name through six games, but he's been productive elsewhere with averages of 12.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Excels with double-double

Poeltl accumulated 24 points (11-18 FG, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals in 32 minutes before fouling out of Monday's 121-119 loss to the Nuggets.

Poeltl logged his fourth double-double of the season and is one of the more surprising big men in the Eastern Conference through the first two weeks of play. Injuries can be a concern for Poeltl, who recorded only 50 regular-season games during his first year with the Raptors. If he can stay healthy, the team has an excellent chance to improve on last year's 25-57 record.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Delivers third triple-double in win

Jokic finished Monday's 121-119 victory over the Raptors with 28 points (10-22 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 14 rebounds, 13 assists, two blocks and one steal in 38 minutes.

Jokic's red-hot start is a surprise to no one, as the perennial All-Star is a nightly triple-double threat who can dominate in all facets of the game. Despite the temporary loss of Jamal Murray (concussion), the Nuggets have won three of their last four games due in large part to Jokic and strong performances from the supporting cast.
