  • Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Stuffs stat sheet in loss

Okongwu provided 14 points (4-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), three rebounds, three assists, four blocks and two steals over 28 minutes during Friday's 142-115 loss to the Pistons.

Okongwu had a mixed performance in a blowout loss to the Pistons, recording a season high in blocks and turnovers. The USC product leads the league with three games collecting at least two steals and three blocks in the same game. The big man has scored in double figures in all but three games this season and remains a steady source of points, rebounds, and stocks.

  • Josh Green SF | CHA

Hornets' Josh Green: Logs 17 minutes in return

Green accumulated two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one assist and one steal across 17 minutes during Friday's 129-126 loss to the Bulls.

Green made his return to the court, suiting up for the first time this season. A shoulder injury has kept Green on the sideline, although he appeared untroubled during his time on the floor. While it is good to see him back, the path to minutes is far from clear, especially once the roster is fully healthy. As always, the situation in Charlotte is worth keeping an eye on, given recent history. However, Green is not someone who needs to be prioritized outside of deeper leagues at this stage.

  • Sion James SG | CHA

Hornets' Sion James: Rare offensive showing

James racked up 14 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes during Friday's 129-126 loss to Chicago.

James scored double digits for just the seventh time this season, a welcome sight for anyone who streamed him in. While the offensive production was unexpected, his defensive contributions continue to be mostly underwhelming. At this stage, it appears as though James could end up being a player whose real-life value outweighs his fantasy value, making him a hard player to trust outside of deeper formats.

  • Brandon Miller SG | CHA

Hornets' Brandon Miller: Strong two-way effort in loss

Miller ended Friday's 129-126 loss to the Bulls with 18 points (8-22 FG, 2-8 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal over 34 minutes.

Miller chipped in across the board, delivering another balanced performance. Although the shooting remains an issue, Miller has been able to contribute on the defensive end, recording 16 combined steals and blocks in his seven appearances since returning from injury. The shooting should return to normal in the not-too-distant future, adding to his overall fantasy appeal. He remains a solid hold in all formats and could be viewed as a potential buy-low candidate in some situations.

  • Zach Collins C | CHI

Bulls' Zach Collins: Flirts with double-double

Collins ended Friday's 129-126 win over the Hornets with 16 points (6-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one block across 20 minutes.

Collins had his best game of the season, falling two rebounds short of a double-double. With Nikola Vucevic struggling once again, Collins and Jalen Smith took it upon themselves to up the ante. While Collins does have a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, as long as Chicago is running a three-center rotation, it's hard to see either Collins or Smith having sustainable value. At this point, managers in standard leagues should simply monitor the situation.

  • Tre Jones PG | CHI

Bulls' Tre Jones: Scores six points in return

Jones had six points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and five assists in 25 minutes during Friday's 129-126 win over the Hornets.

Jones returned from a three-game absence as a result of an ankle injury, delivering an underwhelming performance. While he has been a top 80 player thus far this season, much of Jones' value has come during times when the roster is depleted. He should be able to maintain an every-night role, but the scope for top-100 production will continue to be reliant on the availability of others.

  • Bulls' Patrick Williams: Scores season-high 16 points

Williams accumulated 16 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 26 minutes during Friday's 129-126 win over the Hornets.

Williams scored a season-high 16 points, just the sixth time this season he has tallied double digits. Although he has been mostly healthy, Williams' role has been underwhelming, averaging 7.6 points, 1.0 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in 21.2 minutes per game through 23 contests. At best, he can be considered a borderline fantasy asset for those in deeper formats.

  • Asa Newell PF | ATL

Hawks' Asa Newell: Scores 10 points in blowout loss

Newell closed Friday's 142-115 loss to the Pistons with 10 points (4-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one block in 17 minutes.

Newell has scored in double figures in each of his last three appearances, during which he has missed only four of his 17 shots from the field. The 20-year-old forward has played at least 12 minutes in all three of those outings with Kristaps Porzingis (illness) unavailable, and Newell is making a case to stick in the rotation whenever Porzingis is out. Newell is averaging 4.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.4 assists across 9.0 minutes per contest in 16 regular-season games thus far.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Totals 14 points in blowout win

Duren closed Friday's 142-115 victory over the Hawks with 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 24 minutes.

Duren notched his seventh game with at least two blocks in Friday's blowout win. The star big man also did not record a turnover for just the second game this season. The 22-year-old center is in the midst of a breakout season, averaging 18.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 blocks across 29.2 minutes per game thus far.

  • Bones Hyland PG | MIN

Timberwolves' Bones Hyland: Won't return Friday

Hyland (knee) won't return to Friday's game against the Warriors.

Hyland drew the start for the first time this season but sustained a right knee contusion in the first quarter, posting three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and two assists in just under five minutes. With the VCU product joining Anthony Edwards (foot) and Mike Conley (Achilles) on the sidelines, Terrence Shannon, Jaylen Clark and Rob Dillingham are candidates for increased playing time. Hyland's status will be worth monitoring ahead of Sunday's game against the Kings.
