OG Anunoby SF | NY
Knicks' OG Anunoby: Cleared to play Monday
Anunoby (ankle) is available for Monday's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first-round series against the Hawks, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
As expected, Anunoby will shed his probable tag due to a left ankle sprain and suit up as the Knicks look to take a 2-0 series lead. In Game 1 on Saturday, the forward totaled 18 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds and one steal across 38 minutes and shouldn't face any minutes restriction Monday.

Victor Wembanyama C | SA
Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Named Defensive Player of the Year
Wembanyama was named the 2025-26 NBA Defensive Player of the Year on Monday.
Wembanyama takes home the NBA's most prestigious defensive honor after a regular season in which he averaged a league-best 3.1 blocks per game to go along with 1.0 steals across 64 games. A true unicorn at 7-foot-4, the 22-year-old becomes the youngest Defensive Player of the Year winner, as well as the first unanimous selection in league history. Wembanyama will look to maintain a high level of play into the postseason, with the Spurs holding a 1-0 lead over the Trail Blazers in their first-round matchup entering Game 2 on Tuesday.

Onyeka Okongwu C | ATL
Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Good to go for Game 2
Okongwu (knee) is available for Monday's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first-round series against the Knicks.
Okongwu was listed on the injury report with right knee inflammation but will push through and play as the Hawks look to even the series in Game 2. In the Game 1 loss Saturday, the big man totaled 19 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block across 37 minutes. If Okongwu faces any minutes restriction or a lighter workload, Mouhamed Gueye and Tony Bradley would be in line to pick up the slack.

Jordan McLaughlin PG | SA
Spurs' Jordan McLaughlin: Won't play Tuesday
McLaughlin (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Game 2 of the Western Conference first-round series against the Trail Blazers.
McLaughlin will remain out after missing Game 1 due to a left ankle sprain. The veteran guard averaged just 6.4 minutes across 44 regular-season appearances, so his absence should have minimal impact on the Spurs' rotation.

Immanuel Quickley PG | TOR
Raptors' Immanuel Quickley: Won't play Monday
Quickley (hamstring) won't play in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first-round series on Monday against the Cavaliers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Quickley is unable to overcome a right hamstring strain, which will have cost him each of Toronto's first two playoff contests. The Raptors will hope to get him back in the lineup Thursday, when the series flips to Toronto for Game 3. Jamal Shead and Ja'Kobe Walter are both primed for more usage in the backcourt Monday.

Joel Embiid C | PHI
76ers' Joel Embiid: Officially ruled out for Game 2
Embiid (abdomen) has been ruled out for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first-round series against Boston on Tuesday.
Embiid began a strength and conditioning program Monday after undergoing a successful appendectomy April 10, though he will remain unavailable for Game 2, as expected. It remains unclear whether the big man will be available at any point in the series against Boston, and Philadelphia will continue leaning on Adem Bona and Andre Drummond in his absence.

Anthony Edwards SG | MIN
Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Will play in Game 2
ESPN's Shams Charania reported Monday on NBA Today that Edwards (knee) will play in Game 2 versus the Nuggets.
The Timberwolves considered Edwards questionable to play due to right knee injury maintenance, but it likely would have taken something more significant to stop him from suiting up Monday. Barring any setbacks, the superstar guard should be able to handle a full workload as Minnesota tries to even up this series. Edwards logged 38 minutes in Game 1 after carrying a questionable tag.

Ron Harper Jr. SF | BOS
Celtics' Ron Harper: Probable for Game 2
Harper is probable for Game 2 on Tuesday versus the 76ers due to a right ankle sprain, per Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site.
Harper is expected to be available off the Celtics' bench Tuesday. The Rutgers product played just four minutes during garbage time in Boston's Game 1 blowout win over Philadelphia, so Harper isn't likely to play meaningful minutes.

Kevin Durant PF | HOU
Rockets' Kevin Durant: Game-time call for Game 2
Durant (knee) will be a game-time decision for Game 2 on Tuesday against the Lakers, per Will Guillory of The Athletic.
Durant, who missed Game 1 due to a right knee contusion, was a partial participant in Monday's practice. The Rockets are likely to re-evaluate him closer to Tuesday's tipoff. If Durant is unable to suit up, Houston would likely start both Josh Okogie and Reed Sheppard once again.

Joel Embiid C | PHI
76ers' Joel Embiid: Begins next phase of rehab
Embiid (abdomen) started his post-appendectomy strength and conditioning program Monday, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Embiid underwent a successful appendectomy back on April 10, and while he remains without a timetable, he appears to be trending in the right direction. Adem Bona started Game 1 against Boston, but he was ineffective for the most part in his 14 minutes.
