Wesley will shed his questionable tag due to right foot injury management and suit up in his third straight outing following a 43-game absence as he recovered from foot surgery. It's worth noting Friday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, so the 22-year-old guard's status will be worth monitoring ahead of Saturday's rematch against the Grizzlies.

Avdija (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Grizzlies, Danny Marang of 1080 The Fan Portland reports.

Avdija will miss a third consecutive game while continuing to recover from a back strain, and his next chance to play is in the second leg of Portland's back-to-back set Saturday against Memphis. Jerami Grant and Sidy Cissoko are the top candidates to start in Avdija's absence.

Thiero (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Warriors.

Thiero hasn't played since Dec. 30 due to an MCL sprain in his right knee and is without a timetable for a return. However, he's expected to be re-evaluated soon. Until the Lakers offer an update on his progress, the rookie second-rounder should be considered doubtful for future contests.

Podziemski (illness) is listed as probable for Saturday's game against the Lakers.

Podziemski was able to play through an illness during Thursday's 101-97 win over the Suns, though he finished with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist over just 12 minutes. It appears he's on track to play Saturday, though he could operate off the bench if he's not feeling 100 percent.

Kennard (recently traded) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Warriors.

Kennard was traded from Atlanta to Los Angeles on Thursday and could make his Lakers debut Saturday. The sharpshooter is a candidate see increased playing time if he's cleared to suit up, as Luka Doncic (hamstring) has already been ruled out.

Porzingis (Achilles/recently traded) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Lakers.

Porzingis was acquired by the Warriors on Wednesday from the Hawks in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield. Porzingis has been sidelined for a number of games this season due to an illness, but he's been listed on the injury report with left Achilles tendon injury management. The veteran center's next chance to suit up is Monday against the Grizzlies.

Wade is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings due to a left ankle sprain.

The ankle sprain is a new concern for Wade, who has appeared in each of Cleveland's last nine outings. If he isn't cleared to play in Sacramento, Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson and Nae'Qwan Tomlin would be candidates for increased playing time.

Harden (recently traded) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings.

Harden was traded to Cleveland on Tuesday and will have a chance to make his Cavaliers debut Saturday. The star guard appeared in 44 regular-season games with the Clippers in 2025-26, during which he averaged 25.4 points, 8.1 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 35.4 minutes per contest.

Cryer (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Lakers.

Cryer continues to be sidelined by a left hamstring injury that will keep him out of action for a sixth consecutive game. His next chance to play is Monday against the Grizzlies, though the two-way player will likely go to the G League for more reps once he's cleared to return to on-court action.

Doncic (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Warriors.

As expected, Doncic will not be available for Saturday's contest while recovering from a left hamstring injury that he sustained during Thursday's win over the 76ers. There's optimism that the injury isn't severe enough for the superstar guard to be a long-term concern, and his next chance to play is Monday against the Thunder. The absence of Doncic could lead to Austin Reaves or Rui Hachimura entering the Lakers' starting lineup.
