Waters (knee) won't play in Saturday's game against Houston, Jeff Garcia of KENS 5 San Antonio reports.

Waters' next opportunity to suit up now comes Tuesday in Los Angeles against the Lakers. His absence has a minimal impact on the San Antonio rotation, though.

Kornet (ankle/adductor) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.

Kornet is in danger of missing a second consecutive contest due to left ankle soreness and left adductor tightness. If the big man isn't cleared to play, Victor Wembanyama and Carter Bryant would be candidates for a bump in minutes, while Kelly Olynyk could enter the rotation.

Fox is dealing with back soreness, clouding his status for Saturday's contest. The Spurs should have a better idea on how the star guard is feeling based on his ability to make it through Saturday's pregame warmups. Dylan Harper would figure to be the direct fantasy beneficiary if Fox is unable to play.

Caruso (thigh) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against Houston.

Caruso was held out of the second leg of the Thunders' back-to-back set Wednesday against the Spurs, but the veteran swingman will be back in action Saturday. It's a timely return for the Thunder, given that they are without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (oblique), Jalen Williams (hamstring) and Ajay Mitchell (abdomen).

McCain (recently traded) isn't listed on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Rockets.

McCain was traded to Oklahoma City on Wednesday and is set to make his Thunder debut Saturday. The second-year guard will have plenty of competition for minutes when the team is fully healthy, though he could see increased burn right away due to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdomen) and Ajay Mitchell (abdomen) being sidelined.

Dort (knee) is available for Saturday's game against the Rockets.

Dort is off the injury report after catching a breather during Wednesday's loss to the Spurs. Isaiah Joe will likely move to the bench Saturday. Dort has averaged 11.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 32.7 minutes per tilt over his last eight games.

Hartenstein (eye) isn't listed on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Rockets.

Hartenstein missed Wednesday's loss to San Antonio due to a corneal abrasion but will return to action Saturday. The big man has appeared in three outings (two starts) following a 16-game absence with a right calf injury, averaging 9.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 21.0 minutes per contest over that stretch. He has yet to log more than 23 minutes since the extended absence and may remain on a minutes restriction versus Houston.

Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Rockets.

Saturday will mark the ninth consecutive game that Williams will miss while recovering from a right hamstring strain. His next chance to play is Monday against the Lakers, but a timeline for the fourth-year pro's return has yet to be established. Aaron Wiggins, Kenrich Williams and Cason Wallace should continue to see additional minutes in the meantime.

Portis (hip) will play in Friday's game against the Pacers, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.

Portis is returning from a two-game absence with a bruised right hip. Jericho Sims now has a major obstacle to overcome for minutes Friday, though Kyle Kuzma (calf) is out. Portis has scored in double figures in nine of his last 10 outings, averaging 14.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 29.1 minutes per game during that span.

Mitchell (abdomen) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Rockets.

Mitchell will miss an eighth consecutive contest due to an abdominal strain and is without a clear timetable for a return. His next opportunity to play will come Monday against the Lakers. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdomen) also sidelined, Cason Wallace, Isaiah Joe and Jared McCain are candidates for increased playing time.
