Keyonte George SG | UTA
Jazz's Keyonte George: Not playing Sunday
George (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raptors.
George sprained his left ankle late in the fourth quarter of Friday's loss to the Nets. The injury is severe enough for him to miss the first of Utah's five-game road trip, and his next opportunity to play is Tuesday against Indiana. Isaiah Collier is the top candidate to enter the Jazz's starting lineup in George's absence and Walter Clayton should see more minutes off the bench.

Emanuel Miller SF | SA
Cavaliers' Emanuel Miller: Dealt to Cleveland
The Cavaliers acquired Miller on Saturday in a three-team deal involving the Bulls and Kings, Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune reports.
In addition to Miller, the Cavaliers acquired Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis, while Sacramento acquired De'Andre Hunter and Chicago received Dario Saric and two future second-round draft picks. Miller had been on a two-way deal with Chicago but had seen scarce playing time at the NBA level, appearing in just five games and playing 33 minutes in total. In order to open up a two-way slot for Miller, the Cavaliers waived Luke Travers in a corresponding move.

Gregory Jackson PF | MEM
Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Big night off bench Saturday
Jackson closed with 19 points (8-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one block over 28 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 131-114 loss to the Timberwolves.
The third-year forward set a new season scoring high as part of an impressive night by the Grizzlies' second unit, which produced 56 points to the starting five's 58. Jackson closed out January on a bit of a heater, scoring at least 12 points in four of the last five games and averaging 12.8 points, 4.6 boards, 2.6 assists, 1.0 threes and 1.2 combined blocks and steals in 24.0 minutes a contest.

Luke Travers SF | CLE
Luke Travers: Cut loose by Cleveland
The Cavaliers waived Travers (illness) on Sunday, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Cleveland will part ways with Travers in order to open up one of its three two-way slots for forward Emanuel Miller, whom the team acquired Saturday in a three-team deal with the Kings and Bulls. Travers had been in the midst of his second season on a two-way deal with the Cavaliers, but he averaged just 8.6 minutes per game over his 12 appearances at the NBA level in 2025-26 and had instead seen the bulk of his action in the G League. If he clears waivers, Travers could stick around with the Cavaliers' G League affiliate, though the 24-year-old Australian might prefer to explore his options overseas.

Ty Jerome SG | MEM
Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Pops for team-high 20 in debut
Jerome (calf) racked up 20 points (6-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six assists, one rebound and one steal across 19 minutes during Saturday's 131-114 loss to Minnesota.
The journeyman guard led the Grizzlies in scoring in his debut for the team after missing the first 46 games of the season while recovering from a calf strain. Jerome had a breakout campaign in 2024-25 for Cleveland, and he'll get a look in the starting five for Memphis as long as Ja Morant (elbow) is sidelined.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. SF | MIA
Heat's Jaime Jaquez: All-around game vs. Chicago
Jaquez supplied 20 points (8-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals over 32 minutes during Saturday's 125-118 loss to the Bulls.
Jaquez filled up the box score during Saturday's loss, leading the Heat in assists while finishing as the team's third-leading scorer behind Pelle Larsson (22 points) and Bam Adebayo (21 points). Jaquez has averaged 18.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.0 threes and 1.3 steals over 32.0 minutes per game over his last four outings.

Naz Reid C | MIN
Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Leads second unit in win
Reid finished Saturday's 131-114 win over the Grizzlies with 20 points (7-14 FG, 6-10 3Pt), nine rebounds, five assists and three steals in 31 minutes off the bench.
The 26-year-old big scored more points than the rest of Minnesota's second unit combined (11 points). Reid already has one Sixth Man of the Year Award on his resume from 2023-24, and he's building a good case to win another. Over his last seven games, all off the bench, he's averaging 15.6 points, 8.0 boards, 3.3 assists, 3.3 threes, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks in 27.9 minutes.

Myron Gardner SF | MIA
Heat's Myron Gardner: Double-doubles in first NBA start
Gardner recorded 12 points (4-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 11 rebounds and two steals in 23 minutes during Saturday's 125-118 loss to Chicago.
Gardner was a healthy scratch in each of the Heat's two games prior to Saturday's contest, but he was thrust into a starting role against Chicago due to the absences of Tyler Herro (ribs), Norman Powell (personal) and Davion Mitchell (shoulder). Gardner went on to have his most productive game of the season, co-leading the Heat in rebounds while logging the first double-double of his NBA career. He could start in Sunday's rematch against the Bulls if Herro, Powell and Mitchell are sidelined for that contest.

Rudy Gobert C | MIN
Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Dominates glass against Grizzlies
Gobert ended Saturday's 131-114 victory over Memphis with nine points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-4 FT), 16 rebounds, two blocks and two steals across 31 minutes.
The veteran center came up one point shy of his 23rd double-double of the season. Gobert failed to pull down double-digit boards only twice in January, averaging 10.3 points, 12.2 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 14 games on the month while shooting 68.2 percent from the floor, but just 47.5 percent from the charity stripe.

Jaden McDaniels SF | MIN
Timberwolves' Jaden McDaniels: Hits for 20 in Saturday's win
McDaniels totaled 20 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 34 minutes during Saturday's 131-114 victory over the Grizzlies.
The 25-year-old forward delivered at least 20 points for a second straight game, the first time since early November he's done that in consecutive contests. McDaniels has drained multiple three-pointers in four straight games and seven of the last 10, averaging 15.5 points, 4.5 boards, 3.7 assists, 2.3 threes and 1.2 blocks over that latter stretch while shooting a dazzling 56.1 percent from beyond the arc.
