  • Rudy Gobert C | MIN

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: May be rested

Gobert (rest) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Orlando.

After logging 33 minutes Tuesday against the Pacers for the front end of this back-to-back set, a maintenance day is on the table for Gobert. If he does end up sitting out, Naz Reid and Joan Beringer are likely to see increased minutes in the frontcourt.

  • Jaylon Tyson SF | CLE

Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Downgraded to doubtful

Tyson (toe) has been downgraded to doubtful ahead of Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

Tyson was upgraded to questionable Tuesday, but the recent downgrade suggests he will be sidelined for a 10th straight game Wednesday. When Tyson is healthy, he'll likely be relegated to a reserve role unless multiple starters are sidelined, and it's uncertain if he'll get the green light before the end of the regular season.

  • Norman Powell SG | MIA

Heat's Norman Powell: Scores 14 off bench

Powell produced 14 points (4-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and three rebounds across 24 minutes during Tuesday's 121-95 loss to the Raptors.

Powell made his return from a four-game absence and played a modest workload off the bench. Miami's rotations are not set in stone, but whether he starts or not going forward, Powell is likely to be heavily involved.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Expected to play Wednesday

Cunningham (chest) is expected to play Wednesday against the Bucks, Vincent Goodwill of ESPN.com reports.

After getting through shootaround without any setbacks, Cunningham continues to trend in the right direction. While listed as questionable on the injury report, he's likely going to be upgraded to probable or available shortly. However, even if he suits up, his minutes will likely be monitored closely.

  • Spurs' Stephon Castle: Ruled out vs. Portland

Castle (knee) is out for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Castle was carrying a doubtful tag due to right knee soreness, so seeing him ruled out isn't much of a surprise. The Spurs, however, are confident in Castle's chances of suiting up Friday against the Mavericks in the penultimate game of the regular season. With Castle out, look for Dylan Harper to slide into a starting role in the Spurs' backcourt alongside De'Aaron Fox.

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Ruled out for Wednesday

Wembanyama (ribs) is out for Wednesday's game against Portland, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.

No surprise here, as Wembanyama was previously listed as doubtful. Although he's sitting out Wednesday, the Spurs are hopeful to have him back in the lineup Friday against Dallas. Luke Kornet will have plenty of streaming appeal for Wednesday's matchup.

  • Timberwolves' Jaden McDaniels: Questionable for Wednesday

McDaniels (knee) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Magic.

McDaniels, who has missed the past six games for Minnesota, has been cleared for full contact, 5-on-5 basketball activities. He has a chance to return Wednesday, but he will likely face restrictions if he's given the green light to suit up.

  • Jamal Cain SF | ORL

Magic's Jamal Cain: Expected to play

Cain (calf) is expected to play Wednesday against Minnesota, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Cain made it through shootaround and "should be good to go," according to coach Jamahl Mosley. Cain, who is listed as questionable, holds averages of 8.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 three-pointers in 19.6 minutes over his last seven outings.

  • Rui Hachimura PF | LAL

Lakers' Rui Hachimura: Leading scorer in losing effort

Hachimura had 15 points (7-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-3 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block across 26 minutes during Tuesday's 123-87 loss to the Thunder.

With no Luka Doncic (hamstring), Austin Reaves (oblique) or LeBron James (foot) in the lineup, Hachimura led the Lakers in scoring on the night. The 28-year-old has scored in double digits in four of the last five games (three starts), averaging 13.6 points, 4.0 boards, 1.4 threes and 1.0 combined blocks and steals in 25.6 minutes while shooting 60.0 percent from the floor. Hachimura will likely continue to see elevated usage to close out the regular season as the Lakers focus on getting their stars healthy for the playoffs.

  • Isaiah Joe SG | OKC

Thunder's Isaiah Joe: Pops for six treys in rout

Joe finished Tuesday's 123-87 win over the Lakers with 18 points (6-9 FG, 6-9 3Pt) and two rebounds across 18 minutes off the bench.

It's the third time in the last six games that Joe has delivered at least 15 points and four made three-pointers. His role and usage remain limited -- he hasn't played 20-plus minutes in a game since March 21 -- but in the eight contests since then, he's averaged 10.6 points, 3.1 threes, 1.4 boards and 0.9 steals in 14.8 minutes while shooting a blistering 52.1 percent from long distance.
