Isaiah Stewart PF | DET
Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Remains out versus Minnesota
Stewart (calf) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against Minnesota.
Stewart has missed the last 10 contests. Although he has resumed on-court activities, his return date remains a mystery. With Stewart out again, Paul Reed should continue receiving the bulk of the minutes off the bench behind Jalen Duren.

DaQuan Jeffries SG | SAC
Kings' DaQuan Jeffries: On assignment in G League
The Kings assigned Jeffries to the G League's Stockton Kings on Tuesday, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
Jeffries will sit out Sacramento's game Wednesday in Toronto while he instead suits up for Stockton the same night in its first-round matchup with the Iowa Wolves in the G League playoffs. Since signing a 10-day hardship contract with Sacramento last week, Jeffries has appeared in three games and has averaged 10.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 three-pointers in 20.0 minutes.

Anthony Edwards SG | MIN
Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Iffy for Thursday
Edwards is listed questionable for Thursday's game against Detroit due to right knee patellofemoral pain syndrome and an illness.
Edwards recently missed six consecutive games due to the knee issue, and since he's also apparently under the weather, Minnesota may be inclined to hold him out for the front end of their back-to-back set. If the star guard is ruled out, Bones Hyland and Mike Conley would likely absorb most of his minutes. Edwards returned from the extended absence in Monday's blowout win over Dallas, posting 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four assists and two rebounds across 23 minutes.

Franz Wagner PF | ORL
Magic's Franz Wagner: Cleared to play Wednesday
Wagner (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against the Hawks, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Wagner sustained a left high-ankle sprain Dec. 7 and has played in just four games since. However he'll shed his questionable tag and return Wednesday from a 22-game absence due to the ankle injury. The 24-year-old will likely operate under a minutes restriction and may even come off the bench against Atlanta. Over four appearances (two starts) since picking up the injury, he has averaged 12.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 22.8 minutes per contest.

PJ Hall C | CHA
Hornets' PJ Hall: Returns from G League
The Hornets recalled Hall from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Wednesday.
Hall had been on assignment with the G League's Greensboro Swarm but rejoined the parent club after the affiliate's 112-90 win over the Maine Celtics in the first round of the G League playoffs. He played 18 minutes in the victory, finishing with 18 points (6-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and two steals.

Joel Embiid C | PHI
76ers' Joel Embiid: Won't play Wednesday
Embiid (illness) is out for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.
After not being listed on the initial injury report, which dropped Tuesday, Embiid popped up Wednesday morning as out due to an illness. He then posted on X saying he was going to play through the ailment, which wouldn't have been surprising after he did so Monday in Miami, posting 26 points (10-25 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block in 34 minutes. However, Embiid has since posted on X again, saying that the organization is indeed shutting him down against Washington. Team president Daryl Morey confirmed Embiid will be out, saying the center missed the team's morning film session and will be checked out by a doctor, Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Jonathan Mogbo PF | TOR
Raptors' Jonathan Mogbo: Returns from G League stint
The Raptors recalled Mogbo from the G League's Raptors 905 on Wednesday.
Mogbo wasn't available for the Raptors' 127-116 loss to Detroit on Tuesday while he was on assignment in the G League, but he'll suit up for the parent club in the second leg of its back-to-back set Wednesday versus the Kings. The second-year big man took the court Tuesday with the 905 in a 120-105 loss to the Motor City Cruise in the first round of the G League playoffs, playing 19 minutes and finishing with four points (2-4 FG), five rebounds and one block.

Trayce Jackson-Davis C | TOR
Raptors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Returns from G League stint
The Raptors recalled Jackson-Davis from the G League's Raptors 905 on Wednesday.
Jackson-Davis wasn't available for the Raptors' 127-116 loss to Detroit on Tuesday while he was on assignment in the G League, but he'll suit up for the parent club in the second leg of its back-to-back set Wednesday versus the Kings. The third-year big man received some extended run Tuesday with the 905 in a 120-105 loss to the Motor City Cruise in the first round of the G League playoffs, playing 28 minutes and finishing with 18 points (5-10 FG, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks.

Jose Alvarado PG | NY
Knicks' Jose Alvarado: Strong line off bench
Alvarado logged 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt), one rebound and two assists in 12 minutes during Tuesday's 111-94 loss to the Rockets.
This was a terrific showing for Alvarado in a very limited role off the bench. Miles McBride (pelvis) suffered a setback in the loss and will miss Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, and Jalen Brunson (ankle) is questionable. That means Alvarado could be in line for a healthy workload against Memphis.

Jamaree Bouyea PG | PHO
Suns' Jamaree Bouyea: No minutes in loss
Bouyea (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Tuesday in the Suns' 115-111 loss to the Magic.
Bouyea had received playing time in each of the Suns' previous seven games, though some of those appearances had come in garbage time at the tail end of blowouts. With the Suns getting two key contributors back from injury Tuesday in Dillon Brooks (hand) and Grayson Allen (knee), Bouyea ended up falling out of the rotation.
