Dix tallied 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block in 24 minutes during Tuesday's 103-69 Salt Lake City Summer League loss to the Jazz.
Dix delivered an efficient performance and tied for the game high in points. The 22-year-old wing also matched the game-high mark in triples made. Barnhizer got off to a strong start, scoring 13 points on 4-of-4 shooting from the field in the first half. Veesaar supplied 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block across 24 minutes in Tuesday's 96-82 Salt Lake City Summer League win over the Grizzlies.
Veesaar did a little bit of everything in the second leg of this back-to-back set, scoring in double figures for the first time this summer. The big man out of North Carolina was one of six Hawks players to post double-digit points, and he also chipped in on the defensive end with a steal and a block. He figures to provide center depth in his rookie campaign, as he's buried behind Onyeka Okongwu, Jock Landale (ankle), Mouhamed Gueye and fellow rookie Zuby Ejiofor (rest).

D'Angelo Russell PG | MEM
Grizzlies' D'Angelo Russell: Traded to Memphis
The Wizards traded Russell, a second-round pick and a second-round pick swap to the Grizzlies on Tuesday as part of a six-team deal, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Russell picked up his $6 million player option June 19 after not appearing in a game for the Wizards following his trade from the Mavericks at the deadline. Prior to the trade, the guard wasn't a consistent member of Dallas' rotation, averaging 10.2 points, 4.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 19.0 minutes per contest across 26 appearances (three starts). Russell will look to get a fresh start in Memphis, though it remains to be seen whether he'll carve out a significant role with his new team.

The veteran forward was traded from Milwaukee to Washington in February 2025 before being sent to the Mavericks last February. Now, he'll return to Washington, where he figures to serve as a veteran presence while providing frontcourt depth behind AJ Dybantsa and Anthony Davis (finger). Over 63 regular-season outings (50 starts) between the Mavericks and Wizards last season, Middleton averaged 10.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 0.7 steals in 22.8 minutes per contest.

Gary Harris SG | DET
Pistons' Gary Harris: Shipped to Detroit
Harris (groin) was traded from the Bucks to the Pistons on Tuesday along with Taurean Prince in exchange for Caris LeVert and two second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Harris exercised his $3.82 million player option June 23 to remain with the Bucks, but he'll now join the Pistons for the 2026-27 campaign. The veteran guard had a minimal impact during his lone season in Milwaukee, averaging 2.7 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 13.8 minutes per contest across 48 regular-season appearances (two starts). With Detroit looking to compete, Harris is likely to be relegated to a deep reserve role and could struggle to crack the rotation most nights.
