Karaban was initially expected to miss this game, but he progressed quicker than anticipated. The No. 29 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft could be heavily featured during the Summer League.

Harkless signed a two-way contract with the Pistons on Thursday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Harkless is no longer a free agent after the Jazz declined his team option back in June. A defensive-minded wing, Harkless will likely play a prominent role for Detroit's G League affiliate in the early going.

Nance signed a two-year deal with the Bucks on Thursday, Jake Fischer of BleacherReport.com reports.

This will be a minimum deal for Nance with a team option for the second season. Across 47 regular-season appearances with the Bucks in 2025-26, Nance averaged 5.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 15.7 minutes per contest.

Clarkson agreed to a one-year, $3.9 million contract with the Knicks on Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

The veteran swingman will return to the Knicks after playing a meaningful role off the bench for the club in 2025-26. Over 72 regular-season appearances (one start) in his first year with New York, Clarkson averaged 8.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 17.8 minutes per contest.

The Nuggets will waive Valanciunas, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports Wednesday.

Valanciunas was traded from Sacramento to Denver last offseason and averaged 8.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 13.4 minutes per tilt across 65 regular-season appearances (six starts) with the Nuggets in 2025-26. It's unclear whether the veteran center intends to remain in the NBA or head overseas, though he'll likely draw interest from several teams seeking a backup center and veteran presence.

Potter will be waived by the Pacers, per Alex Golden of SI.com.

The expectation originally was that the Pacers would pick up Potter's team option, but the team has had second thoughts after signing Larry Nance earlier Wednesday. Potter's absence from Indiana's frontcourt will leave Jay Huff and Nance to battle for the backup center role behind Ivica Zubac in 2026-27.

Gardner (ankle) won't participate in the Las Vegas Summer League, per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Gardner's Summer League is over because of an ankle sprain he suffered in Friday's California Classic opener in San Francisco against the Spurs. The swingman is missing out on valuable reps as he competes for a rotation spot with the Heat, but he does have plenty of time to recuperate for training camp in the fall.

Nance agreed to a one-year, $4 million deal with the Pacers on Wednesday, per Shams Charania of ESPN.

Nance is joining Indiana to help fortify its frontcourt depth. The journeyman center is set to compete with Micah Potter and Jay Huff for reserve minutes behind Ivica Zubac, though Nance's impact may be felt more as a veteran presence than as a fantasy contributor in 2026-27. He averaged a career-low 3.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.2 blocks in 12.8 minutes per game over 35 regular-season appearances for Cleveland last year.
