Kings' Adam Flagler: Lands two-way deal
Flagler signed a two-way contract with the Kings on Wednesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Flagler spent the 2025-26 campaign with the G League's Austin Spurs, averaging 14.5 points, 4.9 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 31.1 minutes per game across 17 outings. He'll likely spend most of his time with Sacramento's G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings, in the 2026-27 season.

Bogoljub Markovic PF | MIL
Bogoljub Markovic: Signing rookie contract with Bucks
The Bucks signed Markovic to a second-round pick exception Wednesday, per Jake Fischer of BleacherReport.com.
Markovic, who was the No. 47 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft by Milwaukee, appears ready to contribute at the NBA level. The 20-year-old big man spent the 2025-26 campaign playing internationally, and it's also possible he sees plenty of reps for the G League's Wisconsin Herd next year.

Tobias Harris PF | SA
Spurs' Tobias Harris: Signing with Spurs
Harris agreed to a two-year, $31 million deal with the Spurs on Wednesday, per Shams Charania of ESPN.
Harris was a key component of Detroit's turnaround in recent years, and he's now heading to San Antonio to provide veteran leadership for a young Spurs squad. The 33-year-old forward should play significant minutes for his new team and could push Julian Champagnie for a starting spot, but Harris' usage is likely to take a big hit in a first unit loaded with playmakers. Harris averaged 13.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.9 steals per tilt in 63 regular-season games in 2025-26.

Jaxson Hayes C | UTA
Jazz's Jaxson Hayes: Signing with Jazz
The Jazz are signing Hayes to a two-year, $12 million deal Wednesday, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com.
The second season on the contract has a team option as well. Hayes spent his last three years with the Lakers, but now he's lined up to compete for the backup center role behind Jusuf Nurkic with Kyle Filipowski next year. Hayes averaged 7.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.8 blocks in 18.3 minutes over 66 regular-season contests in 2025-26.

Jrue Holiday PG | POR
Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Major backcourt additions arriving
Holiday is in danger of handling a lesser role in 2026-27 after Portland acquired Ja Morant in a trade this summer.
Additionally, it remains to be seen how the Trail Blazers will choose to deploy the returning Damian Lillard (Achilles) next year. Holiday is coming off a resurgent 2025-26 regular season, averaging 16.3 points, 6.1 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game in 53 appearances, so he at least appears to be the early favorite to start at shooting guard. Shaedon Sharpe and Scoot Henderson will also be battling for key roles, further making Holiday's fantasy forecast difficult to predict.

Scoot Henderson SG | POR
Trail Blazers' Scoot Henderson: New-look backcourt incoming?
Henderson is in jeopardy of moving back to a bench role after Portland acquired Ja Morant in a trade this offseason.
Henderson closed the 2025-26 campaign as a starter after missing the first half of the season with a torn hamstring. Not only do the Trail Blazers now have Morant in the mix, but Damian Lillard (Achilles) is also a candidate to jump into the starting lineup in his 2026-27 return to the floor. Until Portland makes its backcourt plans a bit clearer, Henderson is a difficult player to rank from a fantasy perspective ahead of the new year.

Paul George SF | BOS
76ers' Paul George: Larger role incoming?
George could be in line for a larger workload after Philadelphia lost both Kelly Oubre and Quentin Grimes this offseason, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.
With two key wing contributors no longer on the roster, the veteran forward should be asked to shoulder more of the scoring and playmaking responsibilities alongside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. Assuming he stays healthy, George could be positioned for a bounce-back fantasy campaign with an expanded role on the wing.

Wendell Carter Jr. C | ORL
Magic's Wendell Carter: Increased competition at center
Carter's outlook becomes more uncertain following Orlando's acquisition of Nikola Vucevic.
While Carter has served as the Magic's starting center in recent seasons, Vucevic's return could cut into his playing time and potentially shift him into a reduced role depending on how Orlando structures its frontcourt rotation. Carter is likely to remain with the first unit, but his fantasy value may take a hit if the two centers split minutes consistently.

Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA
Jazz's Jusuf Nurkic: Lined up as starting center
Nurkic (nose) is projected as Utah's top starting center for the 2026-27 season after the Jazz lost Walker Kessler to the Lakers this offseason, Jared Koch of SI.com reports.
Nurkic was highly productive when available for the Jazz, averaging 10.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 26.4 minutes per game across 41 regular-season games (36 starts) last year. The veteran big man will have a new partner in the frontcourt with Jaren Jackson now in the fold, so it'll be interesting to see how the two big men mesh in 2026-27. Nurkic should be ready for the start of training camp after undergoing season-ending nose surgery in February.

Kelly Oubre Jr. SF | IND
Pacers' Kelly Oubre: Agrees to sign with Pacers
Oubre agreed to a two-year deal worth nearly $17 million to sign with the Pacers on Wednesday, per Shams Charania of ESPN.
After spending the past three years with the 76ers, Oubre is heading to Indiana for his 11th NBA season. The veteran swingman averaged 14.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.7 three-pointers in 31.5 minutes per tilt over 50 games during the regular season, shooting a career-high 36.0 percent from deep for Philadelphia in 2025-26. All signs point toward Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) being ready for the start of the new year, which could mean Oubre will have to settle for a reserve role.
