Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Suffers ankle injury in Game 5

Reid left Monday's Game 5 of the Western Conference first-round series against the Nuggets with an apparent right ankle injury, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Tim Hardaway looked to step on Reid's foot, causing the LSU product to turn his ankle. He was down in pain immediately after the play but was later able to limp back to the locker room under his own power. Reid can be considered questionable to return until further notice.

  • Franz Wagner PF | ORL

Magic's Franz Wagner: Unable to return due to calf

Wagner (calf) didn't return Monday to the Magic's 94-88 win over the Pistons in Game 4 of a first-round playoff series. He ended the night with 19 points (7-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, four steals and three assists in 24 minutes.

The team relayed during the second half that Wagner was questionable to return due to right calf soreness, and while the forward was spotted on the sideline trying to stay loose, he didn't check back into the game. Jamal Cain provided a significant boost in Wagner's absence, adding eight points and nine rebounds in 24 minutes. Wagner is set to undergo an MRI on Tuesday, per Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel. Until the results of Wagner's MRI are available, he can be considered day-to-day leading up to Game 5 on Wednesday.

Magic's Franz Wagner: Exits with sore calf

Wagner is questionable to return to Monday's Game 4 of the Eastern Conference first-round series against the Pistons due to right calf soreness.

It's not clear at this time when Wagner suffered the calf injury. Jamal Cain and Tristan da Silva would presumably be asked to shoulder additional minutes if Wagner is unable to return.

  • Spencer Jones SF | DEN

Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Drawing start in Game 5

Jones will start Monday's Game 5 of the Western Conference first-round series against Minnesota.

Jones will slot into the starting lineup for Aaron Gordon, who was ruled out about one hour before tipoff with a calf injury. Jones has failed to make much of an impact so far this series, as he's averaging 2.8 points and 1.8 rebounds in 18.0 minutes per game.

  • Ayo Dosunmu PG | MIN

Timberwolves' Ayo Dosunmu: Named starter for Game 5

Dosunmu is starting Monday's Game 5 of the Western Conference first-round series against Denver.

Dosunmu was clearly up for the challenge in Game 4 after Anthony Edwards went down with a knee injury. The Illinois product finished with a career-high 43 points in 42 minutes, leading the Timberwolves to a 3-1 series advantage. Minnesota will need more of the same in Game 5, as the Timberwolves will be without the services of Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo (Achilles).

  • Mike Conley PG | MIN

Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Stepping into starting five

Conley is starting Monday's Game 5 of the Western Conference first-round series against the Nuggets.

Conley was forced into action in Game 4 after both Donte DiVincenzo (Achilles) and Anthony Edwards (knee) went down, and he'll presumably handle point-guard duties going forward. Conley didn't see much action through the first three games of the series, but he turned in a decent all-around line off the bench in Game 4 with five points, one rebound, four assists and two steals in 21 minutes.

  • Aaron Gordon PF | DEN

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Unavailable for Game 5

Gordon (calf) has been ruled out for Game 5 of the Western Conference first-round series against the Timberwolves on Monday.

Gordon struggled at times during Game 4 due to his calf injury, and he simply isn't feeling healthy enough to give it a go Monday night. Spencer Jones drew the start in Gordon's place in Game 3 and will be a candidate to do so again Monday.

  • Aaron Gordon PF | DEN

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Will be game-time call

Gordon (calf) is being considered a true game-time decision ahead of Monday's Game 5 against Minnesota, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.

Gordon managed to return for Saturday's Game 4 and put up nine points in 23 minutes throughout the contest, but it's clear he's not yet over the calf injury. He'll test the calf in pre-game warmups before the Nuggets provide another update on his status for Game 5.

  • Jordan Goodwin SG | PHO

Suns' Jordan Goodwin: Ruled out Monday

Goodwin (calf) won't play in Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round series against the Thunder on Monday.

Goodwin will miss his third game of this first-round series while tending to a left calf strain. His next opportunity to take the floor would arrive Wednesday if the Suns are able to extend the series with a win Monday.

  • Jordan Goodwin SG | PHO

Suns' Jordan Goodwin: Considered true game-time call

Goodwin (calf) is a game-time decision for Monday's Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round series against Oklahoma City, Hayden Cilley of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Goodwin is on the brink of a return from a left calf injury, but he'll need to prove his health during warmups before receiving the green light from Phoenix's training staff. Expect another update on his availability closer to tipoff.
