Reid scored no more than five points for the second time in the past three games, continuing what has been a somewhat quiet series. Through three appearances, he has averaged just 7.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointers. The two teams will meet again in Minnesota on Saturday, when the Timberwolves will look to put a stranglehold on the series.

McDaniels supplied 20 points (9-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 41 minutes during Thursday's 113-96 win over the Nuggets in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

McDaniels recorded his first double-double of the season, and it couldn't come at a better time for Minnesota, which now leads the series 2-1. With two consecutive victories, the Timberwolves will look to extend the series lead, with McDaniels' productivity likely to play a key role once again.

Dosunmu earned his keep in the win, scoring a team-high 25 points and powering Minnesota to an important home victory. Despite continuing to come off the bench, Dosunmu has been a key piece for the Timberwolves ever since being acquired in a trade with the Bulls. Now leading the series 2-1, Minnesota will look to build on that advantage when the two teams meet again on Saturday.

Johnson produced six points (2-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 24 minutes during Thursday's 113-96 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Johnson couldn't get anything going on the offensive end, although he was certainly not alone, as Denver was soundly beaten by Minnesota on the road. On the whole, it's been a mediocre season for Johnson, who is averaging just 12.1 points and 2.0 three-pointers in 57 total appearances.
