  • Warriors' Gary Payton: Iffy for Monday

Payton (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Clippers.

Payton is in danger of missing his first game since Jan. 30 due to a left ankle impingement. If the veteran guard joins Stephen Curry (knee) and Will Richard (ankle) on the sidelines, Pat Spencer and De'Anthony Melton would be candidates for increased minutes, while Nate Williams could enter the rotation.

  • Will Richard PG | GS

Warriors' Will Richard: Out for Monday

Richard (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Clippers.

Richard sprained his right ankle in Saturday's loss to the Lakers and will be held out of Monday's contest. His next opportunity to play will come Thursday against Houston. With the rookie second-rounder sidelined, Pat Spencer, Gary Payton (ankle) and De'Anthony Melton are candidates to see a bump in minutes.

  • Warriors' Kristaps Porzingis: Ruled out for Monday

Porzingis (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Clippers.

Porzingis will miss a fifth consecutive contest due to an illness, and while he practiced Friday, it's not a positive sign that he's being ruled out a day in advance of Monday's contest. His next opportunity to suit up will come Thursday against the Rockets. In the meantime, Quinten Post will likely remain in the rotation.

  • Pelicans' Zion Williamson: Sidelined with sprained ankle

Williamson (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Clippers.

Williamson will miss the second leg of the Pelicans' back-to-back set after spraining his right ankle in the second quarter Saturday's win over the Jazz. The absence brings an end to Williamson's streak of 35 consecutive games played -- the longest of his career. With Williamson sidelined Sunday, the Pelicans should have more minutes available in the frontcourt for Derik Queen and Karlo Matkovic.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Starting Sunday

Drummond will start Sunday's game against the Celtics, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.

Drummond did not play in the team's last game despite being available, and he logged just seven minutes in the game before that. However, the veteran center will enter the starting five Sunday due to the absence of Joel Embiid (oblique). In his last three starts, Drummond averaged 7.0 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks in 23.7 minutes per contest.

  • Kris Murray PF | POR

Trail Blazers' Kris Murray: Exits early Sunday

Murray (illness) will not return to Sunday's game against the Hawks. He'll finish with no counting stats across four minutes.

Murray got the starting nod Sunday but logged just over four minutes before exiting the contest due to an illness. His next opportunity to play will come Wednesday in Memphis.

  • Caleb Martin SF | DAL

    Mavericks' Caleb Martin: Starting Sunday

Martin (back) will start Sunday's game against the Thunder, Justin Martinez of The Oklahoman reports.

Martin missed Friday's game against the Grizzlies due to a back issue, but he will return to a starting spot Sunday. Martin has scored in double figures in three of his last four games in a starting role.

  • Nicolas Batum PF | LAC

Clippers' Nicolas Batum: Won't start vs. New Orleans

Batum won't start Sunday's game against the Pelicans, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

The veteran forward will retreat to the second unit due to John Collins (head/neck) returning from a two-game absence. Batum has averaged 2.4 points and 2.8 rebounds in 14.8 minutes per contest over his last five outings off the bench.

  • Warriors' Stephen Curry: Will be re-evaluated in 10 days

Curry (knee) will be re-evaluated in 10 days, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.

Curry continues to deal with a lingering right knee injury, which has sidelined him since Jan. 30. New reports indicate the star guard will be out at least another 10 days, forcing him to miss the next five games at a minimum. The Warriors will likely continue to heavily utilize Pat Spencer, Brandin Podziemski, De'Anthony Melton and Gary Payton (ankle) in the backcourt.

  • Clippers' Bennedict Mathurin: Not starting Sunday

Mathurin won't start against the Pelicans on Sunday, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

With Kawhi Leonard (ankle) back in the lineup, Mathurin will slide to the second unit. Over six outings (one start) with the Clippers, the 23-year-old swingman has averaged 20.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 31.2 minutes per game.
