  • Mavericks' Khris Middleton: Exits early Tuesday

    Middleton won't return to Tuesday's game against the Nets due to a right shoulder stinger. He finished with six points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 12 minutes.

    Middleton was able to finish out the first half but didn't open the third quarter with the rest of the Dallas starters and will sit out the rest of the contest. The Mavericks will likely turn to Klay Thompson and Caleb Martin to pick up the slack in Middleton's absence. Middleton's status will now warrant monitoring heading into Thursday's game against the Kings.

    Celtics' Ron Harper: Starting sans Brown

    Harper will start Tuesday's game against the Suns, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.

    With Jaylen Brown (knee) out, Harper will get the starting nod for the second time this season. The two-way player has appeared in five outings (one start) so far this month, during which he has averaged 4.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 16.6 minutes per contest. During his lone start in a win over Houston on Feb. 4, he posted 11 points, nine rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes.

    Bucks' Kevin Porter: Quickly returns Tuesday

    Porter (leg) returned to Tuesday's game against the Heat, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

    Porter limped to the locker room in the first quarter, but he was cleared to return to Tuesday's contest after being evaluated by medical staff. He has taken on an expanded role for the Bucks in the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf), and Porter has averaged 21.2 points, 8.3 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals over 34.0 minutes per game over his last six outings.

    Trail Blazers' Kris Murray: Will start Tuesday

    Murray will start Tuesday's game against Minnesota, Sean Highkin of Rip City Radio 620 Portland reports.

    With Deni Avdija (back) sidelined, Murray will enter the starting five in his third outing back from a 19-game absence due to a lumbar strain. As a starter this season (11 games), the 25-year-old has averaged 7.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals in 29.2 minutes per tilt.

    Bucks' Kevin Porter: Goes to locker room

    Porter (leg) exited to the locker room during the first quarter of Tuesday's game against the Heat, Jackson Gross of SB Nation reports.

    Porter was replaced by Cam Thomas at the 8:43 mark of the first quarter, and the former is being evaluated by medical staff in the locker room to determine whether he can return to Tuesday's game. Thomas, Gary Trent and Gary Harris are candidates to see an uptick in minutes for as long as Porter is out of the game.

    Hawks' Jalen Johnson: Leaves early with hip injury

    Johnson won't return to Tuesday's game against the Wizards due to a left hip flexor injury. He finished with five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and two steals across six minutes.

    Johnson sustained the hip injury in the first quarter and was initially deemed questionable to return before being ruled out shortly thereafter. With the star forward unavailable, Jonathan Kuminga and Mouhamed Gueye could see expanded playing time in Johnson's stead. Johnson's next opportunity to play will come Thursday in a rematch with Washington.

    Hawks' Jalen Johnson: Exits game with hip injury

    Johnson is questionable to return to Tuesday's game against the Wizards due to a left hip flexor injury.

    Johnson exited to the locker room midway through the first quarter, where he is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Tuesday's game. Dyson Daniels, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and CJ McCollum will step into more prominent roles on offense and Zaccharie Risacher and Jonathan Kuminga are candidates to see more minutes off the bench for as long as Johnson is out of the game.

    Suns' Grayson Allen: Good to go Tuesday

    Allen (ankle/knee) is available for Tuesday's game against the Celtics.

    Allen was initially listed as questionable for this game due to right ankle and knee injury management. The 30-year-old swingman is a top candidate to enter the starting lineup due to Devin Booker (hip) and Dillon Brooks (hand) being sidelined. Over four February appearances (three starts), Allen has averaged 23.8 points, 4.3 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 34.5 minutes per game.

    Pelicans' Derik Queen: Won't start vs. Golden State

    Queen won't start against the Warriors on Tuesday.

    With Dejounte Murray starting in his return from a torn Achilles, the Pelicans will keep DeAndre Jordan in the starting five and deploy Queen off the bench for the first time since Nov. 14. The rookie first-rounder has averaged 12.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.2 combined steals-plus-blocks while shooting 56.4 percent from the field in 27.1 minutes per game across seven February appearances.

  • Pelicans' Dejounte Murray: Starting in season debut

    Murray (Achilles) will start at point guard in his season debut Tuesday against Golden State, Jake Madison of the "Locked On Pelicans" podcast reports.

    Murray will take the court for the first time since Jan. 31, 2025 after a lengthy recovery from a torn right Achilles tendon. The Pelicans will monitor his playing time closely, but Murray doesn't have a specific minute restriction in place. Derik Queen will shift to the bench to make room for Murray in the starting five.
