The veteran swingman has appeared in just three outings this month, during which he has averaged 20.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 28.3 minutes per tilt.

The left ankle sprain is a new concern for Caruso, whose next opportunity to play will come Tuesday against Toronto. With the veteran swingman sidelined, Aaron Wiggins, Kenrich Williams and Isaiah Joe are candidates for increased playing time.

Brooks went to the locker room during the first quarter of Saturday's game against the Magic due to a left hand injury, Hayden Cilley of ClutchPoints reports.
Brooks appeared to be clutching at his left hand/wrist, and he has been taken to the locker room to undergo further tests to determine whether he can return to Saturday's contest. Jordan Goodwin and Grayson Allen should both see more minutes off the bench for as long as Brooks is out of the game.

Williams sat out Friday's loss to Cleveland -- the second leg of a back-to-back set -- due to right knee injury management. However, he's set to return to action Sunday and could rejoin the starting five with Miles Bridges (suspension) unavailable. Williams has logged 25-plus minutes in three straight outings (two starts), averaging 13.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 28.7 minutes per tilt over that stretch.

McNeeley has been dealing with a left ankle sprain since early February and will not be available for Sunday's contest. He appeared to fall out of the Hornets' rotation prior to his ankle issue, so his return -- which could take place Tuesday against the Bulls -- wouldn't make much of an impact.
