Jovic is dealing with lower-back tightness and will miss just his second outing since Dec. 26. With the 22-year-old big man unavailable, Kel'el Ware and Simone Fontecchio are candidates see a slight bump in playing time.

Powell (illness) is available for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

As expected, Powell will suit up in the second leg of this back-to-back set after initially being listed as probable due to an illness. The veteran swingman has appeared in just three outings this month, during which he has averaged 20.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 28.3 minutes per tilt.

Caruso has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Cleveland due to a left ankle sprain.

The left ankle sprain is a new concern for Caruso, whose next opportunity to play will come Tuesday against Toronto. With the veteran swingman sidelined, Aaron Wiggins, Kenrich Williams and Isaiah Joe are candidates for increased playing time.

The Knicks recalled Dadiet from the G League's Westchester Knicks on Saturday.

Dadiet played in Westchester's 122-114 win over the Cleveland Charge on Saturday, during which he posted 28 points (10-17 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 1-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 34 minutes. He figures to be available for New York's game against the Rockets, though he isn't guaranteed to see the floor.

New York recalled Kolek from the G League's Westchester Knicks on Saturday.

Kolek played 37 minutes during Westchester's 122-114 win over the Cleveland Charge on Saturday, finishing with 19 points (6-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 13 assists, one rebound and one steal. The second-year pro will be available for NBA action against the Rockets on Saturday.

Brooks went to the locker room during the first quarter of Saturday's game against the Magic due to a left hand injury, Hayden Cilley of ClutchPoints reports.

Brooks appeared to be clutching at his left hand/wrist, and he has been taken to the locker room to undergo further tests to determine whether he can return to Saturday's contest. Jordan Goodwin and Grayson Allen should both see more minutes off the bench for as long as Brooks is out of the game.

Williams (knee) isn't listed on the injury report for Sunday's game against Washington.

Williams sat out Friday's loss to Cleveland -- the second leg of a back-to-back set -- due to right knee injury management. However, he's set to return to action Sunday and could rejoin the starting five with Miles Bridges (suspension) unavailable. Williams has logged 25-plus minutes in three straight outings (two starts), averaging 13.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 28.7 minutes per tilt over that stretch.

McNeeley (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Wizards.

McNeeley has been dealing with a left ankle sprain since early February and will not be available for Sunday's contest. He appeared to fall out of the Hornets' rotation prior to his ankle issue, so his return -- which could take place Tuesday against the Bulls -- wouldn't make much of an impact.

Claxton (ankle) isn't listed on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Hawks.

Claxton is set to return from a three-game absence after dealing with a right ankle sprain and right hip soreness of late. As a result, Day'Ron Sharpe is likely to retreat to the bench. Through five February appearances, Claxton has averaged 14.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 25.6 minutes per contest.

Williams (personal) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Hawks.

Williams will be sidelined for a second consecutive game while attending to a personal matter, and his next chance to play is Tuesday against the Mavericks. Terance Mann, Jalen Wilson and Ochai Agbaji are slated to see more minutes off the bench in Williams' absence.
