  • Tari Eason PF | HOU

Rockets' Tari Eason: Cleared to play Friday

Eason (illness) is available for Friday's game against Minnesota, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.

Eason was on the injury report heading into this contest. However, the illness he is battling won't be enough to keep him off the floor for the first time since the 109-99 loss to Charlotte on Feb. 5. In Eason's only meeting with the Timberwolves this season, he finished with three points, eight rebounds and one steal in 21 minutes.

  • Kyle Kuzma PF | MIL

Bucks' Kyle Kuzma: Coming off bench Friday

Kuzma (Achilles) won't start in Friday's game against Brooklyn.

Kuzma missed the last two games. While he was cleared to suit up against Brooklyn, he will come off the bench for the first time since the 131-113 loss to Atlanta on March 4.

  • Jericho Sims C | MIL

Bucks' Jericho Sims: Won't start vs. Brooklyn

Sims won't start Friday's game against the Nets.

Myles Turner (ankle) will return to the starting five following a two-game absence. As a result, Sims will head back to the bench. The 27-year-old big man is fresh off dropping his first career triple-double in Wednesday's loss to Detroit. With the Bucks still shorthanded, Sims will likely continue to see significant playing time off the bench.

  • Bulls' Patrick Williams: Not starting versus Orlando

Williams (thumb) won't start in Friday's game against Orlando.

Williams finished with 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block across 39 minutes as a starter in Thursday's 119-108 win over Washington. However, with Matas Buzelis (illness) back on the floor after missing the last three games, Williams will move back to the bench.

  • Cormac Ryan SG | MIL

Bucks' Cormac Ryan: Making first start of season

Ryan will join the starting five for Friday's game against the Nets.

With the Bucks severely shorthanded down the final stretch of the regular season, Ryan has earned a promotion to the first unit. The sharpshooter has been a silly-season standout, averaging 31.8 minutes over his past five appearances and scoring at least 14 points in four of those contests.

  • Bulls' Lachlan Olbrich: First NBA start Friday

Olbrich is in the Bulls' starting lineup against the Magic on Friday.

The rookie second-rounder has operated in an expanded role of the bench as of late, averaging 15.4 minutes per game over his last seven outings. Olbrich will have the opportunity to serve in an even bigger role Friday as he makes his first NBA start. He'll join Tre Jones, Collin Sexton, Matas Buzelis and Leonard Miller in the Bulls' staring lineup.

  • Nuggets' Christian Braun: Sidelined versus Thunder

Braun (ankle) won't play in Friday's game against Oklahoma City, Ryan Blackburn of MileHighSports.com reports.

Braun and the rest of Denver's starters won't suit up against Oklahoma City, so they will have one more chance to play during the regular season before the playoffs commence. Without Braun on the floor, Tim Hardaway will likely enter the starting lineup for the first time since the 147-123 loss to Miami on Dec. 29.

  • Luke Kornet C | SA

Spurs' Luke Kornet: Not starting vs. Dallas

Kornet won't start Friday's game against Dallas.

Victor Wembanyama (ribs) will return from a one-game absence, pushing Kornet to the second unit. The big man has averaged 5.4 points and 4.4 rebounds across 18.8 minutes per game over his last five appearances off the bench.

  • Nuggets' Cameron Johnson: Not playing Friday

Johnson (rest) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Thunder, Ryan Blackburn of MileHighSports.com reports.

Johnson will join fellow starters Christian Braun (ankle), Jamal Murray (shoulder) and Nikola Jokic (wrist) on the bench for Friday's contest. With Peyton Watson (hamstring) and Spencer Jones (hamstring) also ruled out, the Nuggets will turn to Tim Hardaway, Julian Strawther, Bruce Brown, Jalen Pickett and Tyus Jones to alleviate the load.

  • Aaron Gordon PF | DEN

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Ruled out Friday

Gordon (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Thunder, Ryan Blackburn of MileHighSports.com reports.

Along with the rest of Denver's usual starters, Gordon will be held out of Friday's contest. His next opportunity to play will come during Sunday's regular-season finale in San Antonio. With the veteran forward sidelined, Zeke Nnaji and Julian Strawther should see increased playing time, while David Roddy could enter the rotation.
