Washington (elbow) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Spurs.

As anticipated following his doubtful tag, Washington will be sidelined for a third consecutive contest due to a left elbow sprain. With Washington, Klay Thompson (illness) and Naji Marshall (hip) officially ruled out, the Mavericks are dealing with a severely depleted frontcourt. Expect Khris Middleton and Tyler Smith to see significant boosts in playing time and usage against San Antonio.

Sexton (finger) is listed as available for Friday's game against Orlando.

Sexton was in danger of missing this contest, but he is officially cleared to suit up. The 27-year-old is coming off one of his best performances of the 2025-26 campaign, finishing with 27 points, three rebounds, two assists and three steals across 34 minutes in Thursday's 119-108 win over Washington.

Martin (heel) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Spurs.

Martin's absence will extend to 13 consecutive games due to a strained right heel. With the Mavericks eliminated from playoff contention, Martin's last opportunity to appear in a game this season is Sunday against the Bulls.

Marshall (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Spurs.

As expected after entering the day with a doubtful tag, Marshall will sit out his second consecutive contest due to a left hip contusion he sustained during Tuesday's loss to the Clippers. With Marshall officially sidelined again, the Mavericks will likely lean on Khris Middleton and Tyler Smith to absorb the available minutes in the frontcourt.

Walter will start Friday's game against the Knicks, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

With Immanuel Quickley (foot) and RJ Barrett (knee) sidelined, Jamal Shead and Walter will enter the starting five. As a starter this season (18 games), the Baylor product has averaged 9.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 25.4 minutes per contest.

Shead is in the Raptors' starting lineup against the Knicks on Friday, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Immanuel Quickley (foot) is not available for Friday's contest, so Shead will make his 12th start of the season and the fifth in 11 games since March 23. Shead's last start took place April 1 against the Kings, when he played 37 minutes and finished with 16 points, seven assists, one rebound, two steals and one block in a 123-115 loss.

Slawson won't start Friday's game against the 76ers, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.

With Kobe Brown (back) returning to action after a one-game absence, Slawson will slide to the second unit. The two-way player has averaged 6.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.2 blocks in 21.2 minutes per contest over six appearances off the bench this season.

Harris (groin) is listed as out for Friday's game against Brooklyn.

Harris has been available intermittently in the last few months. Despite the Bucks being without most of their top offensive producers, Harris likely wouldn't have made much of an impact on the scoring end, considering he is averaging only 2.7 points per game this season.

Gafford (shoulder) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Spurs.

As expected after being listed as doubtful, Gafford will miss his third consecutive game due to a right shoulder impingement. With Gafford sidelined once again, Marvin Bagley is heavily favored to draw another start at center, while Dwight Powell should also continue to see rotational minutes behind him.

Bagley (shoulder) is available for Friday's game against the Spurs.

Bagley drew the questionable tag for Friday's game due to a shoulder injury. He was cleared to play after going through pregame warmups, and he'll likely remain in the Mavericks' starting lineup due to the absence of Daniel Gafford (shoulder). Bagley started against the Suns on Wednesday, when he played 26 minutes and finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one block in a 112-107 loss.
