  • Kings' De'Andre Hunter: Won't play Saturday

Hunter (eye) will not play Saturday against the Cavaliers.

Hunter picked up a left eye injury Friday against the Clippers and was unable to return to the contest. With Hunter sidelined, more minutes will be available for Daeqwon Plowden and Nique Clifford on the wings.

  • Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Ruled out Saturday

Pippen (toe) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Portland.

Pippen made his regular-season debut in Friday's loss to the Trail Blazers but will sit out the second leg of this back-to-back due to left great toe injury management. His next opportunity to play will come Monday against Golden State. The Grizzlies are expected to be extremely shorthanded in the backcourt Saturday, leaving more minutes available for the likes of Javon Small, Walter Clayton, Jahmai Mashack and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

  • Cedric Coward SG | MEM

    Grizzlies' Cedric Coward: Doubtful Saturday

Coward (shoulder) is doubtful for Saturday's game against Portland.

Coward is likely to miss the second half of this back-to-back set due to right shoulder soreness. Jaylen Wells (shoulder) is also doubtful, so Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Jahmai Mashack and Walter Clayton could all see a significant bump in playing time, especially if Cam Spencer (ankle) is downgraded from questionable to out.

  • Santi Aldama C | MEM

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Another absence coming

Aldama (knee) is out for Saturday's game against Portland.

Aldama will be sidelined for a second straight contest. The Grizzlies won't be playing for much down the stretch as they focus on their rebuild, so it will be interesting to see if maintenance days become a common theme.

  • Grizzlies' Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Will play Saturday

Caldwell-Pope (rest) will play Saturday against Portland.

After getting the night off Friday for the front end of this back-to-back set, the veteran wing has the green light to return. He'll likely play a key role Saturday with so many Grizzlies on the injury report.

  • Jaylen Wells SG | MEM

    Grizzlies' Jaylen Wells: Doubtful Saturday

Wells (shoulder) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Wells is expected to miss his first game of the season Saturday, which comes on the second half of a back-to-back set, due to right shoulder soreness. With Cedric Coward (shoulder) also doubtful, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Walter Clayton and Jahmai Mashack will likely see increased playing time.

  • Cam Spencer PG | MEM

Grizzlies' Cam Spencer: Questionable to play Saturday

Spencer (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Spencer is dealing with right ankle soreness and is in jeopardy of missing the second leg of this back-to-back set. If the 25-year-old guard isn't cleared to suit up, Walter Clayton, Jahmai Mashack and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope would likely see increased playing time, especially if Cedric Coward (shoulder) and Jaylen Wells (shoulder) are downgraded from doubtful to out.

  • Kyle Anderson SF | MIN

Grizzlies' Kyle Anderson: Good to go Saturday

Anderson (illness) is available for Saturday's game against Portland.

Anderson is all set to make his Memphis debut after missing the front end of this back-to-back set. The Grizzlies are very thin in the frontcourt, and Anderson has a chance to carve out a sizable role.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Sidelined through All-Star break

Kuminga will have his left knee injury re-evaluated by medical staff after the All-Star break, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Kuminga has been sidelined since sustaining a left knee bone bruise against the Mavericks on Jan. 22 while playing for the Warriors. Kuminga and Buddy Hield were traded by Golden State to Atlanta in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) on Wednesday, but Kuminga will have to wait until after the All-Star break to make his Hawks debut. The earliest date he could return is against the 76ers on Thursday, Feb. 19.

  • Dean Wade PF | CLE

Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Unlikely to face Sacramento

Wade (ankle) has been downgraded to doubtful for Saturday's game against the Kings.

Wade was initially listed as questionable due to a left ankle sprain but now appears unlikely to suit up Saturday. If he's ultimately ruled out, there would be more minutes available for Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson and Nae'Qwan Tomlin.
