Jalen Johnson SF | ATL
Hawks' Jalen Johnson: Resting Sunday
Johnson (rest) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Heat.
With the Hawks locked into a top-six seed, Johnson and the rest of the starters will take a night off during the regular-season finale. After two injury-plagued seasons, Johnson was healthy in 2025-26 and posted a career-best campaign, averaging 22.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 35.2 minutes across 72 regular-season games.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker SG | ATL
Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Won't play Sunday
Alexander-Walker (toe) has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Heat.
Alexander-Walker will end up missing the final game of the regular season while tending to a right great toe sprain, but that injury shouldn't prevent him from playing in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The veteran wing has enjoyed a career year in his first season in Atlanta, and he'll wrap up the 2025-26 regular season averaging 20.8 points, 3.7 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 3.2 threes over 33.4 minutes per game. The Hawks are resting several of their key players Sunday, which opens up more minutes for the likes of Corey Kispert, Zaccharie Risacher, Buddy Hield and Keaton Wallace.

Simone Fontecchio SF | MIA
Heat's Simone Fontecchio: Downgrades to questionable
Fontecchio (ankle) has been downgraded from probable to questionable for Sunday's game against the Hawks.
Fontecchio is trending in the wrong direction when it comes to being available for Sunday's regular-season finale. If he's unable to play, then Myron Gardner, Kel'el Ware and Pelle Larsson would each be in line to see a bump in their minutes.
-
Anthony Gill PF | WAS
Wizards' Anthony Gill: Cleared to play vs. Cleveland
Gill (back/head) is available for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers.
Gill was initially listed as questionable due to a back contusion and headache, but he has been given the green light to play in Sunday's regular-season finale. He has started in each of the Wizards' last five games, and over that span he has averaged 11.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists over 30.6 minutes per contest.

Nick Smith Jr. PG | LAL
Lakers' Nick Smith: Inks two-year deal with LAL
The Lakers signed Smith to a two-year contract Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Smith signed a two-way contract with the Lakers in September and has spent most of the 2025-26 season in the G League with South Bay. However, he has seen double-digit minutes in each of Los Angeles' last three games and may operate in an expanded role in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs if one or both of Luka Doncic (hamstring) and Austin Reaves (oblique) are sidelined. Over his last three outings, Smith has averaged 9.0 points, 0.7 assists, 0.7 rebounds and 1.7 threes over 12.0 minutes per contest.

Ochai Agbaji SF | BKN
Nets' Ochai Agbaji: Good to go Sunday
Agbaji (back) is available for Sunday's game against the Raptors.
As expected, Agbaji has been upgraded from probable to available and will suit up for the regular-season finale. He's made only one appearance in April, posting 12 points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal in 18 minutes during a 121-115 win over Washington on April 5. He figures to see increased usage Sunday, with most of Brooklyn's regulars resting.
-
Nolan Traore PG | BKN
Nets' Nolan Traore: Unlikely to play vs. Toronto
Traore (illness) has been downgraded from questionable to doubtful for Sunday's game against the Raptors.
It looks like Traore will not be available for Sunday's regular-season finale while battling through an illness. Tyson Etienne, Malachi Smith and Drake Powell should all see an uptick in playing time if Traore is indeed ruled out.
-
Landry Shamet SG | NY
Knicks' Landry Shamet: Not playing Sunday
Shamet has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Hornets due to right knee injury management.
Shamet was in line for an expanded role Sunday due to the Knicks resting most of their key starters. Instead, the veteran wing will be sidelined to manage a lingering knee injury, but he should be available for the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Shamet will end the 2025-26 regular season averaging 9.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 threes over 23.0 minutes while connecting on 39.2 percent of his three-point attempts (on 5.2 3PA/G). Jeremy Sochan, Jordan Clarkson and Miles McBride are candidates to see an uptick in playing time due to Shamet's absence.
-
Hugo Gonzalez SF | BOS
Celtics' Hugo Gonzalez: May not play Sunday
Gonzalez is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Magic due to right foot pain, Bobby Krivitsky of Forbes.com reports.
The rookie first-rounder was slated to serve in an expanded role due to the Celtics resting all of their starters, including Jayson Tatum (Achilles), Jaylen Brown (Achilles) and Derrick White (knee). However, Gonzalez's late addition to Boston's injury report doesn't bode well for his chances of playing in Sunday's regular-season finale. Jordan Walsh, Max Shulga, Ron Harper and Dalano Banton would all see a slight uptick in minutes if Gonzalez is not cleared to play.

Tre Scott SF | BKN
Nets' Trevon Scott: Gets hardship deal with Brooklyn
The Nets signed Scott to a hardship contract Sunday, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Scott's 10-day contract with the Nets expired Saturday, and this recent deal ensures that he will be available for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Raptors. He has started and played 40-plus minutes in each of Brooklyn's last three games, and he should have a heavy workload against Toronto, given the number of injuries that the Nets are dealing with.
