  • Tre Jones PG | CHI

    Bulls' Tre Jones: Starting Thursday

Jones is in the starting lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Lakers, Khobi Price of The California Post reports.

Joining Jones in the first unit for Thursday's game will be Josh Giddey, Matas Buzelis, Leonard Miller and Jalen Smith. As a starter this season, Jones owns averages of 13.5 points, 6.0 assists and 1.4 steals per contest.

  • Jabari Walker PF | PHI

76ers' Jabari Walker: Scores 16 points in 17 minutes

Walker logged 16 points (6-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists and one rebound over 17 minutes during Philadelphia's 131-109 loss to Detroit on Thursday.

Walker saw most of his playing time in the second half (particularly the fourth quarter) due to the Pistons' large lead. The 2022 second-rounder took advantage of the added run time, needing just six field goals to score 16 points and finish as the Sixers' second-leading scorer behind MarJon Beauchamp (17 points). Walker could see an expanded role off the bench for the next few weeks due to the absences of Tyrese Maxey (finger) and Kelly Oubre (elbow).

  • Justin Edwards SF | PHI

76ers' Justin Edwards: Near double-double vs. Detroit

Edwards logged 12 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and four steals over 29 minutes during the 76ers' 131-109 loss to the Pistons on Thursday.

The 76ers are dealing with injuries to multiple starters including Kelly Oubre (elbow) and Tyrese Maxey (finger), which led to Edwards making his sixth start of the season Thursday. Edwards took advantage of the opportunity by setting a season high in steals and came one rebound shy from recording his first double-double of the 2025-26 campaign. Oubre is expected to be sidelined for at least two weeks, so Edwards could remain a starter for as long as the former is sidelined.

  • 76ers' MarJon Beauchamp: Extended run off Sixers bench

Beauchamp finished Thursday's 131-109 loss to the Pistons with 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one block over 30 minutes.

The 76ers are thin on depth due to multiple absences, most recently Tyrese Maxey (finger) and Kelly Oubre (elbow), both of whom are expected to miss multiple weeks. Those injuries, coupled with Thursday's blowout loss, resulted in Beauchamp seeing his most minutes played since the 2022-23 season as a member of the Bucks. He has played mostly in the G League with the Delaware Blue Coats this season, but his performance against Detroit, along with Philadelphia's injury bug, could lead to an expanded role for Beauchamp over the next couple of weeks.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Double-double in just 15 minutes

Duren logged 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one block over 15 minutes during the Pistons' 131-109 win over the 76ers on Thursday.

Duren saw limited playing time due to foul trouble, but he was productive in the third quarter with nine points and six rebounds. Four of the five Pistons starters did not play in the fourth quarter, and despite playing just 15 minutes, Duren was able to record his 32nd double-double of the season, which is tied with Victor Wembanyama (ankle) for fifth most in the Association. Duren has averaged 21.9 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.2 blocks and 0.8 steals over 27.2 minutes per game since the All-Star break.

  • LeBron James SF | LAL

Lakers' LeBron James: Ready for return

James (hip/foot) will play Thursday night against Chicago, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.

James will make his return to court after missing three straight matchups due to hip and foot injuries. The 41-year-old had been playing well before going down and had managed to put up 20-plus points in three of his previous four outings.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Drains five triples vs. Philly

Robinson posted 19 points (7-10 FG, 5-7 3Pt), four assists, two rebounds and one steal over 25 minutes during the Pistons' 131-109 win over the 76ers on Thursday.

Robinson scored eight points in both the first and third quarter of Thursday's game and sat out the entire fourth frame due to Detroit's commanding lead. The sharpshooting wing ended up leading both teams in scoring, and it was the ninth time this season that Robinson connected on at least five triples. He has connected on 40.5 percent of his three-point attempts (6.6 3PA/G) since the All-Star break, and over that span he has averaged 11.2 points, 2.4 assists and 2.3 rebounds over 25.8 minutes per game.

  • Mo Bamba C | UTA

    Mo Bamba: Waived Thursday

The Jazz waived Bamba on Thursday, Kevin Reynolds of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Bamba went down with an illness and wasn't able to travel with the team on its upcoming three-game road trip, and Utah cut him. In two games with the Jazz, Bamba accounted for a total of 10 points, 20 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two turnovers across 38 minutes.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Dishes 13 dimes in blowout win

Cunningham recorded eight points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 202 FT), 13 assists, five rebounds, two steals and one block over 28 minutes during the Pistons' 131-109 win over the 76ers on Thursday.

Cunningham did all of his scoring in the first quarter and sat out the entire fourth frame due to the Pistons' commanding lead. It was the first time in two seasons that Cunningham did not score in double digits, though he led both teams with 13 dimes, a mark he has reached 11 times this season. He has averaged 22.7 points, 11.5 assists, 5.6 rebounds, 2.6 threes, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks over 34.8 minutes per game since the All-Star break.

  • Ousmane Dieng SF | MIL

Bucks' Ousmane Dieng: Won't return Thursday

Dieng has been ruled out for the remainder of Thursday's game against the Heat due to an illness. He'll end the night with zero points (0-2 FG) in 14 minutes.

It was clear from the beginning of the game that Dieng wasn't feeling like himself, as he was shut down after failing to record a stat outside of two missed field-goal attempts. This doesn't appear to be a long-term concern for the 2022 first-round pick, who can be considered day-to-day leading up to Saturday's matchup with Atlanta.
