Thunder's Cason Wallace: Drains five threes in Game 7 loss

Wallace logged 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-9 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block over 36 minutes during the Thunder's 111-103 loss to the Spurs in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday.

After coming off the bench in the Thunder's last two games, Wallace was back in the starting lineup for Game 7 to give the Thunder a spark in the absences of Jalen Williams (hamstring) and Ajay Mitchell (calf). Wallace was quiet for most of the night but came alive in the fourth quarter with 14 points, but it ultimately wasn't enough as the Thunder came up short in their title defense. Wallace is under a team option for the 2026-27 season, and it'll be interesting to see what his role is with Oklahoma City after starting in a career-high 58 regular-season games this past year and moving into the starting five for Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.

  • Spurs' Keldon Johnson: Comes up big in Game 7 win

Johnson registered 11 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 16 minutes during the Spurs' 111-103 win over the Thunder in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday.

Johnson was limited to just two points in the first half, but the 2025-26 Sixth Man of the Year came up big for the Spurs in the second half, when he scored nine of his 11 points to help push San Antonio to the NBA Finals. He'll finish the Western Conference Finals having averaged 9.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 1.4 threes over 18.7 minutes per game. The Spurs will welcome in the Knicks on Wednesday for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Disappears in Game 7 loss

Holmgren logged four points (1-2 FG, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, two blocks and two steals over 33 minutes during the Thunder' 111-103 loss to the Spurs in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Thunder desperately needed another contributor alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the absence of Jalen Williams (hamstring). While he contributed defensively, Holmgren was unable to meet the moment offensively when it mattered most, failing to attempt a shot in the entire second half while missing half of his limited free-throw attempts. It was an incredibly disappointing end to the 2025-26 season for Holmgren, who finished the Western Conference Finals having averaged 10.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.1 blocks over 29.8 minutes per game.

  • Spurs' Julian Champagnie: Lethal from deep in Game 7 win

Champagnie recorded 20 points (6-11 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal over 37 minutes during the Spurs' 111-103 win over the Thunder in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday.

Champagnie entered Saturday's game having shot 6-for-14 from three-point range over the last two games of the series. He brought the hot hand to Game 7 to lead both teams in three-point makes, finishing as the Spurs' second-leading scorer behind Victor Wembanyama (22 points). Champagnie has scored 20-plus points in two of his last three games and will end the Western Conference Finals having averaged 11.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.6 threes, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks over 33.9 minutes per game. Game 1 of the NBA Finals takes place Wednesday in San Antonio, where the Spurs welcome in the Knicks.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Scores 35 in season-ending loss

Gilgeous-Alexander amassed 35 points (12-21 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 9-11 FT), nine assists, four rebounds, three steals and one block across 43 minutes in Saturday's 111-103 loss to the Spurs in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.

Gilgeous-Alexander delivered an efficient performance Saturday, though he scored only four points in the fourth quarter and was unable to lead the Thunder to the NBA Finals for a second consecutive season. Although he struggled with efficiency for much of the series, the superstar point guard posted 24-plus points in five of seven games and reached the 30-point mark three times. He also led all players in assists Saturday and dished out at least seven in all but one game during the Western Conference Finals. Gilgeous-Alexander will now look toward next season following another incredible campaign. The 27-year-old earned his second straight MVP award and finished the regular season averaging 31.1 points, 6.6 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 0.8 blocks in 33.2 minutes per tilt across 68 outings.

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Propels San Antonio to NBA Finals

Wembanyama registered 22 points (7-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 42 minutes in Saturday's 111-103 win over the Thunder in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.

Wembanyama's stat line in Game 7 wasn't the most flashy, but the Spurs needed every second out of their superstar center, who led the team in points and rebounds while anchoring the defense to lead San Antonio to its first NBA Finals since the 2013-14 season. He was named the MVP of the Western Conference Finals after averaging 27.3 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.7 blocks, 1.4 steals and 2.3 threes over 37.7 minutes per game. Game 1 of the NBA Finals takes place in San Antonio on Wednesday, when Wembanyama and the Spurs welcome in Jalen Brunson and the Knicks.

  • Jared McCain PG | OKC

Thunder's Jared McCain: Not starting Game 7

McCain won't start Saturday's Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Spurs, Rylan Stiles of SI.com reports.

McCain will slide to the second unit after starting the last two games, opening the door for Cason Wallace to enter the starting five. Over four appearances off the bench in this series, McCain has averaged 11.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.8 minutes per contest.

  • Cason Wallace SG | OKC

Thunder's Cason Wallace: Back with starters

Wallace will start Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Spurs on Saturday, Rylan Stiles of SI.com reports.

Wallace will move back into the starting lineup in place of Jared McCain due to the absences of Jalen Williams (hamstring) and Ajay Mitchell (calf). Across 14 postseason games, Wallace is averaging 8.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists.

  • Jalen Williams SF | OKC

Thunder's Jalen Williams: Ruled out for Game 7

Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Spurs.

Williams aggravated his left hamstring injury in Game 2 and missed the next three contests before returning for Thursday's Game 6 loss. The star forward played just 10 minutes and took only one shot, chipping in one point and one assist. He's now been ruled out for Game 7 due to injury management, so his next chance to play will come in the NBA Finals against New York if the Thunder win Saturday. With Williams sidelined, Jared McCain, Kenrich Williams and Cason Wallace will likely see increased run in Game 7.

  • Ajay Mitchell SG | OKC

Thunder's Ajay Mitchell: Another absence coming

Mitchell (calf) has been ruled out for Saturday's Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Spurs.

Mitchell is set to miss a fourth consecutive contest due to a right calf strain. If the Thunder are able to beat the Spurs on Saturday, his next chance to play would come Wednesday in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Each of Jared McCain, Alex Caruso and Cason Wallace are all options to step up for Oklahoma City in Game 7, especially now that Jalen Williams (hamstring) has also been confirmed as out.
