  • Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Pops for 15 in Friday's start

Pippen provided 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals across 22 minutes during Friday's 124-105 win over the Mavericks.

Getting the start in place of Ty Jerome (thigh), Pippen continued to be busy on defense while scoring in double digits for the fourth time in seven games (three starts) since making his season debut Feb. 6. Over that stretch, the fourth-year guard has averaged 11.3 points, 4.9 assists, 2.4 steals, 1.9 boards and 1.1 threes in 20.7 minutes.

  • Grizzlies' Olivier-Maxence Prosper: First career double-double

Prosper racked up 16 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt), 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 25 minutes during Friday's 124-105 victory over the Mavericks.

Making his fourth straight start in an injury-ravaged Grizzlies frontcourt, Prosper recorded his first career double-double while also making an impact on the defensive end. The third-year pro took on a more sizable workload in February, when he averaged 13.1 points, 5.0 boards, 1.6 threes, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 24.3 minutes per contest while shooting 56.5 percent from the floor and 44.4 percent (16-for-36) from beyond the arc over 10 games (five starts).

  • Ryan Nembhard PG | DAL

Mavericks' Ryan Nembhard: Inks standard contract with Dallas

The Mavericks converted Nembhard's two-way contract to a two-year standard contract Saturday, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports.

A spot opened up on the roster after Tyus Jones was waived, which the Mavericks opted to fill with Nembhard on a two-year deal that includes a team option for the 2026-27 season. Nembhard has spent most of February in the G League with the Texas Legends but has seen meaningful playing time at the NBA level this season, including a 16-game stretch from late November to early January in which he started and averaged 9.6 points, 6.1 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 threes over 24.9 minutes per game. He last saw NBA action Feb. 5 but should see some consistent minutes off the bench for the rest of the regular season, especially for as long as Cooper Flagg (foot) is sidelined.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Team-high 25 points in OT loss

Allen logged 25 points (10-12 FG, 5-8 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and one block over 31 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 122-119 overtime loss to the Pistons.

Allen took on a more prominent role on offense for the second game in a row due to the absences of Donovan Mitchell (groin) and James Harden (thumb). Allen led the Cavaliers in scoring and finished with 25-plus points for the third time in his last five games, though he fell one rebound shy from logging his sixth consecutive double-double. The veteran center struggled offensively for much of the season but wrapped up a strong February having averaged 22.3 points on 74.0 percent shooting along with 11.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.8 steals over 29.5 minutes per game.

  • Cavaliers' Dennis Schroder: Nears double-double vs. Detroit

Schroder notched 12 points (4-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, nine assists, one block and one steal across 38 minutes during Friday's 122-119 overtime loss to Detroit.

Schroder was initially tagged as questionable for Friday's game due to a right ankle sprain, but the veteran point guard was cleared to play and was in the starting lineup for a second consecutive game due to the absences of James Harden (thumb) and Donovan Mitchell (groin). Schroder didn't have an efficient night from the field but got his teammates involved with nine assists, falling one dime shy from logging his third double-double of the season (and first since Dec. 21 against the Rockets as a member of the Kings). He would likely start against the Nets on Sunday if one or both of Harden and Mitchell were unable to play.

  • Evan Mobley PF | CLE

Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Strong double-double in OT loss

Mobley recorded 23 points (9-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and four blocks over 37 minutes during Friday's 122-119 overtime loss to the Pistons.

Mobley finished Friday's overtime loss as the Cavaliers' leader in blocks and rebounds while finishing second in points behind Jarrett Allen (25). It was Mobley's 18th double-double of the season and first since Jan. 23 against the Kings. He has played just four games since the All-Star break while managing a calf strain that caused him to miss seven consecutive games from late January to mid-February, and the Cavaliers might limit the fifth-year forward's workload down the stretch, especially in back-to-back sets.

  • Tobias Harris PF | DET

Pistons' Tobias Harris: Sets career high in steals Friday

Harris had 11 points (5-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists and six steals across 37 minutes during Friday's 122-119 overtime victory over the Cavaliers.

Harris put up a modest stat line offensively but made a huge impact on the defensive side of the floor, where he registered a career-high six steals in what was his 10th multi-steal game of the season. The veteran forward will wrap up the month of February having averaged 10.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 threes and 1.3 steals over 29.9 minutes per game.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Double-doubles in OT win

Cunningham registered 25 points (11-21 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 37 minutes before fouling out of the Pistons' 122-119 overtime win over the Cavaliers on Friday.

Cunningham scored 17 of his 25 points in the first half and finished as the team's second-leading scorer behind Jalen Duren (33 points), though the former was not on the floor for overtime after fouling out late in the fourth quarter. Cunningham has recorded a double-double in each of his last five games and is up to 32 on the season, which is the fourth most in the Association behind Karl-Anthony Towns (40), Nikola Jokic (38) and Jalen Johnson (38). Cunningham will end the month of February having averaged 25.4 points, 9.9 assists, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 threes, 1.6 steals and 1.5 blocks over 33.5 minutes per game.

  • Sidy Cissoko SG | POR

Trail Blazers' Sidy Cissoko: Under the weather

Cissoko (illness) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Hornets.

Cissoko is in danger of missing his second game in February while battling through an illness. The third-year pro is averaging 21.8 minutes per game this season, and those minutes would likely be absorbed by Matisse Thybulle and Kris Murray if Cissoko is unable to play.

  • Caleb Houstan SF | ATL

Hawks' Caleb Houstan: Recalled to NBA

Atlanta recalled Houstan from the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Friday.

Houstan will likely remain a depth option for the Hawks considering he hasn't played in an NBA game since Jan. 17. However, he has been active in the G League, where he has posted double digits in points and at least three rebounds in seven consecutive starts. He had his two-way-deal converted to a standard contract in February, but he may eventually be assigned again to the Skyhawks during the season.
