Watkins (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Watkins did not play in the team's 17-13 win over the Seahawks in Week 1 due to a high-ankle sprain he suffered during the preseason. The wide receiver was able to practice in a limited capacity last week, and he has now opened this week where he left off.
