The 49ers signed Jones to the active roster Wednesday from the Vikings' practice squad.
Jones dealt with an undisclosed injury through the end of training camp and into his tenure with the Vikings' practice squad. The defensive tackle is evidently healthy and set to suit up for the 49ers in Sunday's contest against the Cardinals. Defensive tackle CJ West (undisclosed) was moved to IR in a corresponding move.
