Richburg (kneecap) was placed on the active/PUP list by the 49ers on Tuesday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Richburg is recovering from a torn patellar tendon suffered Week 14 last season. When he's able to resume practicing and eventually retake the field, he stands to reprise his usual role as San Francisco's starting center.
