Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Peterson (back) fit in some reps at Wednesday's practice and "looks like he's got a chance" to play Sunday versus the Rams, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
In particular, Peterson ran "around a little bit" Wednesday and handled some snaps during the ensuing walk-through session. While Peterson may be healthy enough to suit up this weekend, the Seahawks may not elevate him from the practice squad due to a mostly injury-free backfield. Aside from Alex Collins (abdomen) putting in a limited session to kick off Week 15 prep, all of Rashaad Penny, Travis Homer (hamstring) and DeeJay Dallas were full participants Wednesday.
