Peterson (lower back) said Monday that he hopes to continue his career in 2022, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Peterson dealt with a lower back injury for the final month of the regular season and finished the year on the practice squad injured list. He served mainly in an advisory role for the Seahawks' young running backs while he was hurt, but he hopes to recover during the offseason in hopes of playing somewhere in 2022. The 36-year-old appeared in four games with the Titans and Seahawks in 2021 and rushed 38 times for 98 yards and two touchdowns while securing all four of his targets for eight yards.
