Bears' Andy Dalton: Injures non-throwing hand
Head coach Matt Nagy said Dalton injured his non-throwing hand in the Bears' 33-22 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday, Adam Hoge of NBCSChicago reports.
Dalton completed 26 of 41 passes for 229 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions while gaining six yards and two rushing attempts. He was under heavy pressure all day while the Cardinals did a solid job of taking top target Darnell Mooney away. Of his four interceptions, two came on passes that were misplayed by his receivers, though Dalton salvaged his fantasy day with a pair of scoring passes in the second half after the Bears fell behind by 17 points. If his hand injury isn't significant, he'll continue to be a marginal option in leagues that start two quarterbacks until Justin Fields (ribs) returns to the lineup.
