The Bears have ruled out Dalton (knee) for Sunday's game at Cleveland, Dan Graziano of ESPN.com reports.
In the aftermath of the Bears' Week 2 win against the Bengals, Dalton was diagnosed with a bone bruise in his left knee, which will result in at least one game missed. Head coach Matt Nagy has reiterated all along that Dalton will resume starting once he's healthy enough to do so, with his next chance coming Oct. 3 versus the Lions. With Dalton sidelined this weekend, though, rookie Justin Fields will get his first career start, while Nick Foles serves as the backup quarterback.
