Coach Matt Nagy said Monday that Dalton (knee) is considered week-to-week, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.
Dalton was held out of Sunday's Week 3 loss to the Browns due to a bone bruise in his left knee, and he isn't expected to miss significant time. However, he still could be sidelined for multiple games. A better idea of the 33-year-old's status for the team's Week 4 matchup against the Cowboys should come into focus based on his status in practice this week. Although Justin Fields (hand) started against Cleveland, Nagy said Monday that the Bears "are working through" who will start at quarterback Week 4, according to Kimberley A. Martin of ESPN.
