Coach Matt Nagy said Sunday that the Bears will have a better sense of Dalton's knee injury once the quarterback undergoes additional tests, Adam Hoge of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

When asked if Dalton suffered an ACL injury, Nagy said, "I'm pretty sure that we can rule that out." As evidence, Nagy told Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune that Dalton was the emergency option at QB in the second half of Sunday's 20-17 win. Dalton didn't end up returning to the contest, finishing Week 2 with 56 yards and one touchdown on 9-for-11 passing to go with two carries for 25 yards. Meanwhile, rookie Justin Fields didn't do much with an expanded role, completing six of 13 passes for 60 yards and an interception and taking 10 carries for 31 yards. Considering Nagy's comments, the Bears will have a better idea of their situation under center in the next 24-48 hours.
