Jones (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.
It's unclear whether Jones tested positive for the virus or is out due to contact tracing, but he'll need to clear the health and safety protocols regardless. Jones will have nearly two weeks to return to practice before the preseason opener Aug. 14 versus the Dolphins.
