The Bengals designated Taylor-Britt (ankle) for return from injured reserve Wednesday.
The transaction opens up a 21-day window in which Taylor-Britt can be evaluated during practice, and if all goes well during the current week, he could be cleared to play as soon as Sunday against Kansas City. Prior to landing on IR with an ankle sprain, Taylor-Britt accrued 46 tackles, 10 pass breakups, four interceptions and one forced fumble across 10 games.
