Bengals' Joe Burrow: Uneven effort Week 2
Burrow completed 19 of 30 passes for 207 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in Sunday's 20-17 loss in Chicago.
After posting 261 yards and two TDs without an interception during a Week 1 victory against the Vikings, Burrow fell back to earth a bit, posting the first turnovers of his second campaign. His first one was particularly backbreaking, as a pass intended for Tyler Boyd near midfield was picked off and returned to the house to put the Bears up, 17-3, with just under 11 minutes remaining in the game. However, Burrow made up for the foibles with two garbage-time scores to Ja'Marr Chase (42 yards) and Tee Higgins (seven yards) in the last five minutes of action. Burrow will attempt to bounce back next Sunday in a road matchup with the Steelers.
