Allen (knee) missed practice for the second day in a row Thursday, but the reason listed was rest, Jay Morrison of SI.com reports.
The defensive tackle popped up on the injury report Wednesday with a knee issue, but it does not appear to be serious. Allen should be able to continue playing a starting role for the Bengals on the defensive line this Sunday against the Steelers. The veteran has six tackles (five solo), including 2.0 sacks, through two games.
