The Bills claimed Archer off waivers Tuesday, Sal Capaccio of WGR 550 Buffalo reports.
Jettisoned to waivers by the Jets on Monday, the Bills have swooped in to see if the burner can aid the return game, at the very least. Outside of 23 kick returns at a clip of 22.4 yards per attempt, Archer, a third-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, struggled to gain a foothold in his first two professional seasons with the Steelers. He'll look to buck the bust label in new climes.
