Bortles (undisclosed) was placed on the Saints' practice squad COVID-19 list Thursday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
The 29-year-old will now have to go through league protocols before returning to the team in the coming days. Bortles has almost the entirety of the 2021 season on a practice squad, only cracking the active rosters of the Packer and Saints for a pair of games but not seeing action in either.
