The Browns listed Mayfield (shoulder) as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Cleveland didn't hold an actual practice one day after the team's 37-14 loss to the Cardinals, but Mayfield wouldn't have been available to take the field after aggravating the partially torn labrun in his left (non-throwing) shoulder in the blowout. Though Mayfield expressed confidence he'll be ready to play Thursday night against the Broncos, head coach Kevin Stefanski wasn't yet prepared to declare the 26-year-old ready to go for the quick turnaround Week 7. Case Keenum will start under center in the event Mayfield can't go versus Denver.
