Mayfield completed 15 of 33 passes for 155 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in the Browns' 14-7 win over the Vikings on Sunday. He also rushed twice for 11 yards and threw a two-point conversion pass.

Mayfield had experienced some accuracy issues early in the Week 3 win over the Bears before hitting his stride, but he never quite settled down for any extended stretch Sunday. A remarkable defensive effort and another strong game from the Nick Chubb-Kareem Hunt backfield duo helped the Browns get by with another victory anyhow, but Mayfield's play, which included a paltry average of 4.7 yards per attempt, left plenty to be desired. Mayfield's ball placement issues were best exemplified on the afternoon by a missed connection with Odell Beckham on what would have been a sure touchdown late and significantly burnished the fantasy production of both players for the day. Mayfield will look to allay concerns that he's experiencing regression after an impressive 2020 season under Kevin Stefanski's scheme when he takes on a tough Chargers defense on the road Week 5.
