The Browns placed Weaver (foot) on injured reserve Thursday, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
Weaver underwent foot surgery Thursday, setting him up to miss the entire 2020 campaign. The Dolphins waived the rookie fifth-round pick earlier this week and hoped he'd go unclaimed, but the Browns have instead elected to stash Weaver for next season.
